Name a better game then PoE.

I didn't play any other game for thousands of hours so it's hard to make a comparison.

Judging by satisfaction/ hours played, Little Nightmares 2. Elden Ring too although I have only 170 hours so far. Witcher 3. Possibly Skyrim.

GGG would have to be the most successful games developer with a company website that STILL genuinely looks like it was made in a garage because I'm pretty sure it was. Looks like they removed that charming old staff photo though. Still kept the all-important 'hey we're in Middle Zealand, land of the Ring' style banner art.

If better means average fun per minute AND would I play it again over other games, a quick list for me would be;

Zelda ALTTP
Diablo 2, lod, and DR2
Dark souls 1-3
Elden Ring
Pokemon gold / silver / crystal era

Really, the sad part is realizing how little fun PoE is on a minute to minute basis. Just hours at once of mindlessly mapping, knowing all those uniques dropping are trash, and all those rares are either better left on the ground or vendor food.

I wish that people, myself included, wouldn’t obfuscate or avoid the truth, but rather would pursue it and speak it at every turn.

The genie's lamp is a lie or rather a fantasy to help us make sense of the world.

For me, it's not about the "best game", since there is no such thing, especially with so diverse stuff like video games.

I play more than one game, sometimes a few of them in parallel, sometimes switch to something else for a while, then back to "standard rotation", depending on what I feel like playing at the moment.

Better would be to list what games we used to play (and spent hundreds and/or thousands of hours playing) and what we play nowadays. Quite a few nice old and new games would made those lists, and some might give others an idea what to try next time they had enough of their "standard" games.

or you can write it as
In a supermarket, a customer can buy anything they need.

It is not gender specific. We avoid it nowadays because a masculine word not gender inclusive is unacceptable and unwelcome nowsdays. If he was generic, he could refer to a possibility of he as well to she.
