POE used to be a great game. Very early on. As power creep turned this game into a seizure inducing, flash bang, screen clearing, millions of damage doing, keeping flasks up at all times, blur of a simulator, or you will get one shot by something and you have no idea what happened experience... it is literally no fun for me.

I haven't played in well over a year now. I was hoping POE 2 would slow things down and make combat just a touch more tactical. I don't have much hope any more.

I just watched some gameplay of people showing off their builds in the latest league. Same old shit. Run... clear screen, run... clear screen. No cares about what monsters you are fighting, no variation in tactics. Speed and max damage is all that matters.

They can add all of the content/maps/monsters they want. I will never get to see any of it anyway, because the game screen will still just be a flurry of blinding explosions and a bunch of useless loot laying all over the place amongst the corpses.

Nah, playtime is far from ideal. Technically i have ~6,5k hours in game bust most of that time is spend afk. When i do chores, work (i work remotely) or do whatever, even play other video games, PoE is still running.

Why? Because trading suck and i don't want to lose opportunity to sell pricey items.

You should try learning the game and creating a character instead of trying to copy meta shit. Even tho I can tell by what you're saying you're a casual. But the challenge may prove fun for you.
