Im currently playing factorio. Doing a run with major mods krastorio 2, 248k ^-^.
First time on 248k, its pretty new it seems.

It was years ahead of it's time.

Sure, D2 was good. But I would say most D2 players back in the day played D2 before D1 and this affected their perception of D1.

D2 set the stage for grinding loot etc and definitely the precursor to POE.

But D1 as a standalone game was second-to-none. The original story of D1 is pure, dark, simple, and just brilliant. The dark atmosphere of D1 has yet to be matched by any sequel or competitor. Personally, I think D2 was a backwards step in terms of graphics too which was a big turn off for me personally.

POE was the first game since D1 that felt right.

2) World of Warcraft

West of Loathing

Before you dismiss the game, at least do a search and see what it's about. It gives a lot of enjoyment for a relatively short time frame, which is what a game should do, instead of wasting hours before you start to have fun. In my opinion, you get more value out of your time by playing this game than the dark souls games or whatever hardcore games you can name.
