Clear speed is terrible. The game is about throwing a slot machine lever as often as possible. Melee is " a waste of time".

edit: lol Lightning Strike isn't "melee" in the true sense. Maybe we should define " melee" because you're just going to come back with how fast you zoom zoom and blow up pacts when I definitely wasn't meaning LS.
It's funny though that you play LS which is one of few meta builds while arguing against meta.

Before the support gem nerfs and the Harvest removal, those would be pretty steep drops for the first month.

PoE can do whatever it wants, it doesn't owe players anything. It might be getting more streamers, but it doesn't seem to be keep players engaged.

If player number is too low GGG will probably just try to make the game easier again.

Then after a few leagues they will nerf the game to the ground like they did in 3.15 again.

It's their business cycle. Kinda disgusting but it works.

I am honestly curious, not trolling or leading you into something, but why do you care?

I think a lot of people see GGG going down a direction that goes against a fair bit of the playerbase, I wont labor on about it because there are enough of those threads.

People posting this are pointing out that GGG is facing consequences for their choices.

Seems fair.

Honestly, I couldn't imagine coming in as a new player now. The barrier to entry for most end game content is even too much for mega veteran semi-casuals like me.

Of course I'm nobody. We all are. Last league I did everything with Smite. Melee. Still fun.

Smite is not some fringe unusable skill. If you are aurastacking its pretty great.

I am having a lot of fun, I don't care about game hoppers, they can come and leave.
Even if 5000 people play PoE - I will still play it because it is the game I trully enjoy. And I feel there are tens of thousands of people like me. PoE already has a very strong player base, all these hoppers and leavers - no one cares.
