Everything is fine.

Its just a numbers in the internet and pixels on the screen. Nobodys ded.

But.. ,)
No one can deny that the steam numbers look bad, because they do.

But to think that the game is dying based on the numbers of one league is naive - at best. The game will survive, and the numbers will probably look better the next league or the league after. This patch wasn't "short term", it was "long term", hitting the reset switch to be able to spoil the players in the future with OP power creep.

Some players will quit the game for real. Some players just need a break to cool off for a while, slowly realizing that PoE is still the best - and most popular ARPG on the market.

We all know that the "Goodbye thread" will have lots for fancy numbers by lots of names caome next league.
Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.
I wish we had more insight into the standalone client numbers. The Steam numbers might be misleading if my experience is accurate. My steam friends play the league for a bit (a few weeks at most) and then stop until next league. Without exception. my friends that play further into the league are the standalone.

The only time they've given us any insight into the ratio of steam client to standalone was at the start of the league. Never in the middle/end.

It doesn't matter really. Just curiosity.
Thanks for all the fish!

They gave the ratio for the start of 3.15? The last time I saw a ratio was for 3.13. Steam had 60% of the players.

Right, at the start of the league. Although 50/50 is what I recalled by I might be remembering wrong.

My point more centered around not knowing the middle/end of the league and my steam friends drop off significantly faster.

Trading with people has dropped by alot last two weeks. Personally I have played this league longer then I usually would.
But I wish the economy was better then it is currently. The game desperatly needs something that gives you a reason for staying. Like super late gear upgrades etc...

A streamer that I follow mentioned that he had to do his own crafts because he couldn't find the items for sale. Not a good look for POE.

Yeah you are right.

Steam charts include the multiclient beastfarms, multiclient afk blighted map farms and thousands of bots.

These charts are so far from reality of trade league economy as it gets.

So the standalone client doesn't have the multiclient beastfarms, multiclient afk blighted map farms and thousands of bots?
