So if typhn is just plain wrong, why do you believe your opinion is so right? Why is your claim about the true POE spirit required to be blindly accepted by everyone? You come across as quite angry and just because someone expressed a personal opinion that you don't agree with. That doesn't seem very reasonable or warranted.
Where is this "anger" and "vitrol", more of this made up "im being attacked" nonsense. Weird how everything im saying which is clearly none of the aforementioned is being intentionally interpreted that way.

Why would i listen to anything thats OBJECTIVELY WRONG. Your opinion isnt fact, quit treating it as if it is and maybe someone would bother listening. How about starting with honest, fact based, constructive criticism instead of emotionally fueled drivel.
I just stated my opinions on topic (GGG's Regrets of 3.15 Patch - Player Backlash). I dont have access to full data, im not part of dev team, and my playstyle may not be representative. Still i illustrated my anecdotal experience to show why there is player backlash. You keep coming back at me with false claims about what i said, and you keep speculating about my motives. And im not even topic of this discussion. So how about starting with honest, fact based, constructive criticism instead of emotionally fueled drive?
Don't bother arguing with this Tin Foil Hat person.
It's not worth your time, he's most likely a troll or so far gone into the GGG echochamber that he's beyond saving.
He's spouting about the "vocal minority" complaining on the forums when more than 50% of the playerbase left the league after 1 week.
Last time I checked, more than 50% leaving was a majority.

Alright, I guess I was incorrect in assuming you were a GGG whiteknight.
Just looks like you're part of a vocal minority who likes the direction the game is heading.
Reddit math? All you need to do is look at the PoE steam charts to see how the game is doing. 116k player peak on league launch. 54k player peak yesterday.
This means that 54% tried the league out during league start through the steam client and quit the game.
54% is absolutely a majority.
This means you're part of the vocal minority who likes 3.15 and tries to defend it on the forums.
And before you start saying something stupid like: "Those statistics only show players on steam, that's not represntative" Chris himself has been on interviews and said that ~50% of the playerbase play PoE through the steam client. He also said that player numbers and retention for players in the steam client and the stand alone client almost mirrored eachother EXACTLY.
Stop crying about a vocal minority disagreeing with the changes. Majority of players didn't like the league and quit. You're the minority buddy and your screams are being drowned out by the majority who disagree with the current direction the game is taking.

"Steam charts"
By steam charts numbers, your "better leagues" had poorer retention rates.
Looking at Harvest league for example, their 1 month numbers averaged 18k. We are two weeks into the game with a large drop off but are averaging 23k and that number is gaining as more people are seemingly returning to the game for this league after the initial drop off, which means if this league keeps its average or continues to grow at the current rate, it will in fact have a better retention rate than other leagues which you "vocal majority" players claim were better, when they clearly werent based off "numbers".
We arent a vocal minority, at all, hints why the games changing.
According to what im looking at, most leagues lost 30-40% of their "player numbers" within the first month, even if its an extra 10% that isnt much of an outlier especially since the intention of this patch was to change the game. 10% difference isnt anymore significant than the fall offs every league lmao.

Also league players number at start was lower then previous league. Seems like part of player base skip league without trying. Thats make gap even wider. I dont claim thats everyone skip because of game changes. But clearly there was lower player interest in participating in this league at start, for some reason or the other.
Good luck!

Best league ever with some of the worst player numbers of any league. Right...
Games changing with or without you, if you dont like it, youre free to leave. Stop acting like youre the majority when you arent, if you were, the game wouldnt be changing.

Oh, so what youre saying is steam charts isnt correct because thats exactly where i pulled those percentages and numbers from. Funny how it only is "accurate" when you want to use it in your argument.
