By steam charts numbers, your "better leagues" had poorer retention rates.

Looking at Harvest league for example, their 1 month numbers averaged 18k. We are two weeks into the game with a large drop off but are averaging 23k and that number is gaining as more people are seemingly returning to the game for this league after the initial drop off, which means if this league keeps its average or continues to grow at the current rate, it will in fact have a better retention rate than other leagues which you "vocal majority" players claim were better, when they clearly werent based off "numbers".

We arent a vocal minority, at all, hints why the games changing.

According to what im looking at, most leagues lost 30-40% of their "player numbers" within the first month, even if its an extra 10% that isnt much of an outlier especially since the intention of this patch was to change the game. 10% difference isnt anymore significant than the fall offs every league lmao.

Oh, so what youre saying is steam charts isnt correct because thats exactly where i pulled those percentages and numbers from. Funny how it only is "accurate" when you want to use it in your argument.
Sounds sorta like....a politician hehehe.

They want to say their numbers are right, so i used them. Yet when i use them theyre wrong even though theyre the same for everyone. If this league keeps its player numbers for another week and a half it preformed better by comparison because it started with 50k less players to begin with.

Apparently people forget how numbers work, you cant compare retention rates without also including the base starting number but thats being ignored entirely.

Harvest started with 125k, 1 month in it averaged 18k on steam according to the monthly chart. Meaning it kept messily 14.4% of it's players after one month.

Harvest sucks! But look at my decked out gear two weeks in!

Seems like you're suffering from delusions of grandeur.
You're completely illequiped to interpret statistics since you're lying and presenting missinformation.
Either because you're just incapable of interpreting them or because you're intentionally trying to decieve everyone with false numbers.

First of all, why do you pick Harvest as an example? It's no secret that Harvest was one of their worst performing leagues ever. Why are you comparing one of the worst performing leagues in GGG history to the absolute worst performing league in GGG history regarding relative numbers? (Blight had worst absolute numbers at league start)

And where are you getting your numbers from?
Harvest Peak: June 1, 125 432
Harvest Peak 1 month later: June 28, 64 732

Retention rate: 64 732 / 125 432 = 0,516 = 51,6%
More than 50% of the players still played the game 1 month after Harvest released, despite it being one of their worst performing leagues ever.

Expedition Peak: Jul 23, 116 106
Expedition Peak 11 days later: Aug 3, 54 239

Retention rate: 54239 / 116 106 = 0,467 -> 46,7% left playing the game at peak hours.

So Harvest had 52% of the playerbase still playing the game at peak hours 1 month into the league and Expedition has 47% still playing the game 11 days into the league. And you're sitting here trying to say that Expedition has higher retention than Harvest? When Harvest even was one of the worst performing leagues ever?
I'm sorry, but who are you trying to decieve here?

And to your second lie. You're actually trying to sell us the missinformation that Expedition is gaining players and the player count is growing? I have no clue how you can derive to these conclusions. Expedition is consistently losing players overtime. You do see a slight uptick in playernumbers during the weekend because majority aren't working then and are able to put some time off into playing. But I'm sorry to inform you, but you're not gaining players. You're losing players.

Jul 23: 116 106
Jul 24: 91 504
Jul 25: 88 104
Jul 26: 75 885
Jul 27: 69 895
Jul 28: 66 706
Jul 29: 62 785
Jul 30: 60 367 (Friday, from here on we're expecting a massive uptick in player numbers because people have more free time to play the game)
-------------WEEKEND----------------------------------------------------------
Jul 31: 62 370
Aug 1: 64 671
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Aug 2: 58 306
Aug 3: 54 239
Aug 4: Today

I find it amusing that you're trying to use slight surplus increases in numbers from weekends as an indication that Expedition league is growing in numbers. It's actually hillarious how much Copium you're inhaling.

The numbers are clear, over time, this league is bleeding subscribers. Not gaining any. During weekends you will see a slight uptick in player numbers because more regular people who work during weekdays will have time to play.
But the trend is clear - This league is losing players at a rapid rate.

Keep coping buddy. No matter how much you try to missinterpret numbers to decieve others or weasel yourself through with blatant misinformation, you're part of the vocal minority.
Haha coping. Why would I need to cope, I'm not the one sitting in a doomsday bunker claiming the game is dying like you guys are every league. 🤣

using peak numbers instead of average is hilariously disingenuous.

Nice rebuttal.

So it's safe for the rest of the people reading this post that you're intentionally trying to missinform the public with fake statistics in an attempt to persuade public opinion?
