Latency issues from Brazil - Net/Virtua ISP
sadly since using a VPN solution solves the problem for most players it's seen as a local ISP / ISP peering problem and not a "GGG problem" (would be my guess).

Does it change anything if we play using the steam client rather than the stand alone one? Honestly I dont think it does but Ill try anything at this point lol

" There's no reason for the Steam client to show any difference. The problem should remain. |

" This workaround doesn't work for everyone. I tried a VPN and NoPing/ExiLag without luck. Why this is happening (working for some and not for everyone)? I don't know, but all this latency problem with SP's server sounds like a route problem (and, in this case, GGG should be in touch with Claro) or a server problem on the IBM cloud infrastructure that GGG use. |

" No difference. I use the standalone client and my brother use the Steam client, both have the same problem. |

" Yeah, I'm starting to think it may be a specific machine in the server that's receiving the NET clients and may be faulty. I have no idea how any of this works, though, my knowledge is superficial at best, but I have had similar problems like this in the past with another ISP, and after a lot of insistence they ended up hearing my claims, and discovered that a street box used to connect some cables to the main line had problems (or something like that). It was one of the jumps on the route, in that case, that lead them to the faulty box. Since NET is claiming that it happens after it leaves their infrastructure, only GGG will be able to give us an answer now, cause they are the ones to talk with the server. |

" Routing issues can be internal to the infrastructure, but seems like we had few changes Before ![]() Now ![]() one of the hops from Network Layer seems to have been removed from the route |

technician came to my house, changed the cables, reset the route in the central, reconfigured everything.
It didn't help, I still have high latency, according to the tests I did, the problem is the rupture that connects sp with the usa. I did a lot of tracerts tests, they all lead to the same server... https://prnt.sc/14l1ox3 as I understand it, the problem starts from SP to the USA, latency goes well until SP and RJ and then when you need to connect to the USA is when the problems start. the ISP causing the problems is this one SoftLayer Technologies Inc. Hello guys. I did some tests trying to figure out if there really is a problem with GGG server.
Using NET/Virtua ISP, the bad node with high ping (140ms+) is: ae55.cbs02.eq02.sao02.networklayer.com [169.45.18.163] Using VIVO ISP the connection is normal because it doesnt reach the same bad node as above. So, i did a tracert using the VIVO ISP directly to the bad node (ae55.cbs02.eq02.sao02.networklayer.com [169.45.18.163]) and as i thought the problem is really there, with the same high ping. If you guys have a phone with different ISP, you can test it too using as access point. EDIT 1: If you use any kind of service that gives the location of IP address, this bad node (ae55.cbs02.eq02.sao02.networklayer.com [169.45.18.163]) is located in Texas USA!! That is the problem... GGG must change the location of this server! Last edited by rafaelbaur#2285 on Jun 7, 2021, 6:24:49 PM

" Thank you! Have you guys opened a ticket or sent an email to GGG yet? Maybe we should try contacting them by email a link to this thread, it should help to shed some light to the problem. |
