Was harvest over nerfed?

i was lurking the tft a few days now for remove non def add def, found one but it was already sold...

back to some rng fossil spamming then.

so booooring...
Harvest was overnerfed, by a huge margin. They did it wrong, from the get go. Items crafted via harvest bench once should gain an “influence like” status, with some visible background or a line “Harvested” like the new “split”, and that would make them possible to be further harvest crafted only via the owners hortistation. You could sell them, you could still meta craft them, but you wouldn’t be able to basically craft item via 20-30 different users. All that’ was needed was an unique ID for every hortistation, 20 craft limit and all annual/exalt crafts to be executable only from station (aka to use your “overwhelmingly deterministic crafts” and “item editor” you would need to store them first, but you could freely use all lesser crafts in map).

GGG caved in to TFT discord, and they didn’t eliminate neither the craft sharing problem or the fact that players need to hang on discord to craft items. Still discord is the way to go, and still people are sharing crafts. Harvest was fine outside of the targeted divines (that was stupid). if you never traded crafts, it was taking hours and hours between desired crafts to show up. I don’t really care tbh, I specced out of harvest from both regions 2 hours after I was able to play the new patch, never looked back.

Problem is that along the harvest nerf GGG at the same time killed most of the end game, in same patch. Most of my friend list is dead after that patch.
Persistence makes impossible possible, possible likely and likely definite. Yep, Mirror will drop eventually -_-
I think Ziz did a video on that topic recently where he explained that every time when GGG nerfs something on multiple different angles, it's overnerfed.

It's like multiple teams were working on a possible Harvest nerf and after a few weeks everyone was coming to the meeting "hey, I have a solution for Harvest" and the guys were... "well now we have a lot of solutions... ah just put them in, it'll be alright"

Harvest now is completly trash vs. Harvest in 3.13 and earlier...

Easy craftable High End Items were not the problem but the ability to trade crafts was and still is... Items become a lot harder to craft if u can't buy 20 crafts within a short time frame.

Nope. People are just spoiled. The game needs more "nerfs" to the high end so that they can design a game that everyone can enjoy. Right now, the difference between the Haves and the Have-nots is making it nearly impossible to design content that all can share. Bringing the Haves down a few notches will make it easier for them to give us new and fun stuff to do... which is really where the fun of this whole thing is.

The changes hurt the Have-nots the most, your argument is invalid.

This.

Shags probably doesnt understand you need 20x more cash and 20x more crafts to make what you make in the past. (of items that can still be made) Because you have to reforge influenced items now to get what you want and loc prefix/suffix each time. Fracured items you can still augment but no annuls same deal, jun becomes your best friend at 2ex a pop- aug aug wipe aug aug wipe...Only the rich will be making sick items and TFT is also more necessary than ever due to poor spawn rates of lucky reforges/augments and tier other 4s like remove non influence for influenced.

They couldnt have nerfed it a worse way to hurt the have nots in fact.

And SSF forget about it you won't make shit but a chaos re-roll. This Staff I was working on in Ritual gonna take me 30 ex on avg and 30 crit augs to get 2 t1s CC and crit multi.

Not gonna happen for years with the new poor spawn rates of crit augs!

Shoulda BoA items touched by Harvest if they wanted to hurt the elite and help middle class and end TFTing.

How does taking away easier access to items close the gap between the rich and the poor?

It doesn't. Havrest helped the lessor players and that angered the people who are in the .01% and the people who have simply given up on ever having more than 10ex in a league. All the middle class people loved it.

Not all. I was pro nerf just not like this...BoA woulda been best.. but if even as described in manifesto would be better than now. Chris said the high tier and tier 4s wouldnt be quantity nerfed. They were BIG TIME!

It's effectively useless for any middle class player...they will not make a GG item.

You have completely lost the plot mate, what a shame.
I've lost nothing. GGG lost a lot of player tho.
