Ultimatum and summoners
" I don't dislike Summons strictly. I dislike auto-damage and cloning as a concept. Both allow a player to focus on avoiding mechanics while generally ignoring offense and they compound with a character's normal defenses / avoidance abilities. It's not something that can be numerically compared so it causes problems in an RPG game when trying to balance damage. It's not just Summons. I've done nothing more than asking to see your character. You however have (laughably) targeted random, insignificant bits of gear, insulted me personally, and eluded the point since the start. --- Evidently, you insist on refusing to give any insight whatsoever... Showing your character profile directly relates to the validity of your remarks. Instead, you are just throwing around insults like you have no leg to stand on. its a shame that the mods let you ruin my thread because you defend the game mechanic. if it was the other way around and you bashed the game you would get dealt with. beyond pathetic this thread is ruined so if someone could lock it that would be great. I tried some ultimatums during the campaign and later in white maps and my mobs were dying extremely quickly, and when an army of overbuffed mobs stick to you if you stop running to summon them again you'll get a high chance of dying. Overall necro feels a lot weaker indeed, don't know how it is with high level gear though, I stopped before as I just wanted the 12 challenges.

Have you tried using predator support and getting the minions to focus down the nasty rares? When you get a few of them up together their stacked buffs can get unmanageable.
