why all minions cant get 50-60% less dmg taken? like why not?

I dunno, I'm at a point now where I'm crushing all ultimatums. Definitely not overtuned, characters just need to get stronger. A tale as old as time...

" predator doesnt go with my gem set up and i dont want to swap it in and out just for ultimatums but ty for suggestion. my zombies are now level 26 and still die even from baran mobs...i guess taking the minion life/resists nodes on the tree is mandatory now,thus giving up a lot of damage nodes. summoner sucks now, wont play it again unless it gets some buffs |

I play minions, and they are doing fine in T16 ultimatums. However, took quite a bit of investment in their survivability:
> 3 x Dread March passives > 5 x Renewal passives > 1 x Fortress Convenant jewel > 1 x Quickening Convenant jewel Did not allocate any minion survivability passives on tree. Ultimatum mobs are doing a lot of physical damage, this is why Dread March passive is great. Not sure if it's possible to survive ultimatums without it though, seems a bit mandatory. " because that isn't a helpful answer? or even a legitimate question. Minions can't get 50-60% less damage taken because minion survivability needs to be a thing (within the context of GGG's game design). They already have much more survivability than they did at game launch, and there are ways of giving them that kind of effective mitigation within the game (at a cost). ...and 50-60% less damage dealt would be fine if there were more ways to scale minion damage, especially on the skill tree. compare the 4 basic damage applications (spell/attack/DoT/minion) and the amount of damage scaling options that exist, there you will find the root of most of the minion balance difficulties. |

This thread looks like a mistake to post in, but I don’t make good decisions
My minions (and myself) take more damage from white map ultimatums than they do from red maps and boss fights. This can, and will be solved by getting better gear. For now, I need to skip ultimatums so my xp bar can reach the end because the only things that are killing me this league are ultimatums and invisible projectiles from texture streaming issues. My profile is public, if anyone has suggestions. My goal to keep minions alive is to harvest roll some cluster jewels while I try to farm enough currency to swap to chaos inoculation. This is my first time using spectres although I’ve run other minions before. I’m sure once the build is done it’ll be easy to farm ultimatums in t16 I’m just not sure why t16 maps are safer than t1 ultimatums at this point. |

" Not sure if that 'suggestion' is a joke or not. Seriously. Pretty clear now, you're actually complaining about taking minion life/res nodes on a minion build... I'm literally running 2-link zombies and not a single one has died for 2 or 3 days. The mechanic/game isn't the problem. |
