Is anyone actually going to stop playing?

I might stop. But not because of Harvest.

99% of us here are addicted. Maybe 1% will quit, maybe.

I'm not too big on crafting, so this whole nerf does not affect me that much. I like the surprise approach "oh, this dropped, is it good I wonder?"

We might lose some of the folks that came over from D3 fairly recently, but I don't think that's the end of the world.

Honest answer No, because the options are limited, but with the arrival of Lost Ark, Diablo 4, Last Epoch, do you think people will continue to play POE blindly? I doubt it, people will try other IPs, because GGG changes things you love and sooner or later will lose community.

This league? Hell no. Haven't been this engaged since Blight, I think. After that, well, I have no problem waiting to see what PoE2 has to offer.

I'm a bit burnt out, so I'll might be sitting the next league out. It has nothing to do with the Harvest changes, though. It all depends on what the next league has to offer in terms of mechanics and interesting melee skills. We all know the latter won't happen, so I guess it's all about the league mechanics.

The trick isn't to stop playing. It's to not start again.

And you'll only do that when you actively find something more compelling or important on a daily, possibly even hourly basis.

Most Exiles can't, and those I know who did (myself included) did not do it as a response to anything specific GGG did to PoE. Takes a lot more than a change in the formula to break an addict, even one the addict actively hates. Such threats are piss and wind and the dealer i.e. GGG knows it.

I don't make threats I can't keep. PoE too addictive to actually quit. I did stop for like a year but that was due to covid and taking care of my granparents (getting all their groceries and what not) plus I was put under extreme work pressures
