You can try Last Epoch. Its stil early access but the campaign is almost done, & thee is some endgame activities. Also dev is active in listen to feeback & ofen answer our questions. They communite regularly & steam/answer question once or so evrey week.

If not there is always what many regardless as best game ever.....Fortnite. ;p

Well this thread was a rollercoaster.

For me, PoE has reached the point where the bloat is just exhausting. It's just not "fun" at the moment.

How GGG is introducing content and balancing is also making me borderline angry. Its seems so obvious and easy, but their minds are being dominated by streamers, forum screamers, and reddit hysteria.

It's no way to run a game, but here we are. Hope the art team is nearly finished on the next gamble boxes.

Yes, I've already stopped playing. Uninstalled the game a few weeks ago, installed Deep Rock Galactic (happily enjoying the challenge of haz5/elite deep dives), looking forward to D2 Resurrected, still got Nioh 2 and Last Epoch to play through if I want some more loot hunting/ARPG.

What made me quit the league was spending 50+ ex on maven orbs for mana cost/explode chest (and that's not counting the 5 maven orbs I farmed by myself) and then spending 50+ex more for attempting to add 20+ MS to tailwind boots. When I spent the last 5ex on that last rem/add speed to get another 10MS, I said out-loud to myself: "I am down 50+ more ex from TFT trading rem/add speed and nothing to show for it, I am out of currency, I've sold everything else for ex. And I still desperately need the extra DPS from tailwind to clear remaining content - without it, no way my build can increase in DPS anymore, no way I can make progress. This is how GGG wants it to be, and this is a sign - I'm out, peace".

What made me confirm 100% that I'm never coming back at all is their harvest manifesto.

Guys, they clearly are preying on your human instincts at every turn, with skinner box, gambling, FOMO (fear of missing out) and purposely fabricated scarcity. I'm not down for that anymore, now that the honeymoon phase has worn off. Almost everyone in the guild chats I've been in is basically a gambling addict, they're always talking about vaal-ing valuable items, etc. I never liked gambling, so I clearly don't belong. I've been generous with my MTX purchases, it was fun while it lasted, but it's no longer fun, and it would be even less fun if I try future leagues.

Nothing worse than a reformed addict preaching against his addiction.
