Is anyone actually going to stop playing?

I was going to play Monster Hunter Rise for a solid six months minimum March 26th anyway. I was very excited to get harvest back and enjoyed it this league so the change does make it easier to not look in the rearview mirror.

The only issue for me to go that far are lags and crashes. But that´s not really my decision then, it is simply impossible to play then.

I play 5 ssf-only chars in this league, so my highest is only lvl 82, I sometimes notice lags and even freezes in heist missions, also sometimes in Tier 2 or 3 maps (not even rare , just magic) now.

If it gets worse, there´s no use "playing". I guess many people have already quit because of this, which is such a pity, because this is such a good game.

I probably will play the next league but i will definitely not buy any new packs. This isn't only the fact that harvest is getting nerfed but mostly due to other core problems with the game such as: lag, fps drops, bugs, game simply closing for no reason.

There are enough problems with the game to not care about harvest and still be disappointed about it. I only play because there is nothing else to compete with PoE, but i'll probably switch to d2r or Lost Ark when it releases in Europe.

Ritual is the league i played for the longest time of them all, which is for over a month, and mostly because i was able to experiment with different builds (due to strong items prices being lower than usual).

yes but not because harvest gets removed because poe gets pretty stale after so many seasons. i mostly dangle around for 1-2 weeks clear everything and call it a day. The Problem lies in the missing new stuff to tinker with making builds is a big part of the game but how long is it since the last released unique jewel which alters a skill or support games that changes something

Playing is fine, just stop spending money

An analogy I have for PoE end game is a cake.

Mapping is the main part of cake
delve/Heist/Beastery are additionla smaller layer on top of the main cake

Things like delirum, metaphor, breach etc Maven control bosses, shaper influence maps & 101 new way to craft like harvest are the icing

The size of the base cake hasn't increase much in size, but the icing has grow more & more.

A cake with little icing taste dull, a cake with too much icing taste like well eating cream.

Thats why I think PoE feel a bit slate, & map & map just make me lose motivation the more I play.

The gameplay isn't bad, but not fun alone to play for gameplay alone.
I think that is the main issue with end game for me.

Since my gears are pretrty good already the motivation to get more currency start losing the charm as well.

People here like to sht on Diablo 3, but pushing leaderboard in D3 & to do so, you have to push your character to the limit to shave time, staying alive, maximise Damage, plan your move, when to buff/debuff, which mobs to focus, which to group, which to aviod etc.

I 1000000000% will be playing less, I don't find it as fun to just grind currency to buy my gear upgrades. PS I had killed A9 Sirus and the Maven before I had any of this, was mostly using chaos spammed/20c or less gear/self found gear before I went crafting.

I prefer to make my items, heres a taste of what I made so far this league.
most of these took time, currency, and knowledge to make, some were not simple or safe either.

I stop spend money in the game for sure. Im waiting for Diablo 4 and if it's a good game, POE is dead to me.

As SSF player with limited time to play, GGG just stab me in the guts.

Unless the new league is absolutely amazing (and there are major gut wrenching nerfs to other extremely broken mechanics), I am skipping it. The whole Harvest nerf thing is kind of disgusting. Like they don't even know what direction they want the game to go. Really wish I had another game to play, I play League of Legends, but that game is pretty toxic and makes my blood boil on a daily basis.
