Development Manifesto: Harvest Crafting

I didn't play a single day of Ultimatum League, because of the Harvest changes. In 3.13 Harvest was the only one reason keeping me in for 2+ months. I wont bother myself with the next league, if they don't bring 3.13 Harvest back. Just no fun for me at all.
Poe died with 3.13 patch , that was the epitome of the game


So in 3.14

League ending in some hours on PS for me and still ... NOT A SINGLE AUGMENT TO BE SEEN ON HARVEST !

Hey GGG remember this post for 3.16. If you want to retain players...
i don't see GGG reversing anything related to the harvest nerf. they have even removed it from the map device. even with the sheer amount of feedback against the nerf, GGG killed harvest.

flasks get nerfed and a LOT of supporters complained and flasks got changed a little. but, flask nerf also got 2 currency spots in currency stash tab. which to me, means most of that nerf is permanent. this only happened i think because GGG can't handle another player count drop.

harvest is sadly gone for me as i've not seen a single one spawn so far in this league.

poe is going down fast. Diablo 4 and Baldur's Gate 3 have no performance issues. play them instead

Man I fuckin miss Harvest. I've barely even played since this manifesto was announced, it was that demoralizing.
Harvest was the aspirational content and the chase items the game needed. You've never managed to make another thing that felt like progress. All the items you were afraid of happened after all the content was exhausted anyway so what did it matter?

I don't know if something like this has been suggested before, but what about the introduction of a new Orb (I know, GGG is always up for that ;) )that would modify an item similar to a Vaal Orb, but instead of corrupting the item, it would personalize it to the character/account, making it untradable with other players. Then GGG could just bring back all these fun Harvest crafts but for the best craft there could be a limitation that they can only be used on personalized items.
This would prohibit trading of the very strong crafts, which is the main problem, GGG has with Harvest, I guess.

Introduction of a new orb would also allow introduction of new implicit mods, similar to the vaal implicits but something more related to crafting. For example altering the chances to get specific mods or hgher/lower mod tiers, whatssoever. Orb could be used more than once, rerolling imlicit each time so you could spam them until you get what you need to hav best chances to craft your item. Orb could be quite rare though, on a level of Divine Orb

Mr Chis Wilson does not like something not being tradable... As all PoE is balanced around trade, that won't happen anytime soon.

I just hope that they realise, that some deterministic crafting (similar to what Last Epoch does) won't kill the game...

I would like them to realise that players who love PoE won't quit the game because they finished a character and instead will get back to square one with another build in mind.

My only problem now, is the time needed to "finish" a character...
Path of Exile is a Casino for gambling addicts.
Gambling is not fun nor a game mechanic...
