Massive RIP to PoE.

PoE was great but if D2 is exactly the same just with better graphics, i cant wait to put PoE in the rearview for good. So sick of the client performance, terrible unsecure trade mechanics for services, outdated items and skills, etc.

PoE needs some healthy competition imo and man does D2 remastered look great.

Did they change trade in D2? It's been a while since I played D2, but trading was not much different from what I recall.

Best thing you can hope for is MedianXL and PoD compatibility, you know some actual content that will keep you playing for more than 1 week.

Won't give up poe for it but i can see myself playing way less, cause i am sick and tired of poe's performance, will be nice to play a stable game for once.

I played D2 a lot.
Would actually play the remaster if it were the same as D2 but with compatibility for modern computers.

However, from the video I'm not that thrilled with the new graphics.
Sure, they look better than the old DII, but nothing stellar here.
I won't preorder, though. And it didn't say anything in the video that was linked here if the remaster includes LoD. If it doesn't, well, that'd be a huge disappointment.

It has both D2+LoD

I suspect it will be a billion times more appealing to the eye and again a billion times more polished than poe can ever be. especially regarding all combat related aspects. also it will be multiplayer viable while poe just fails in the most horrible way imaginable in that department.

however, diablo 2 lacks a real endgame. if they dont come up with some clever shit, people will just play it for 50 or 100 hours and be done with it. so we will see. I wouldnt expect too much from blizzney to be honest.
