Harvest OP
" Of course it is. People have been saying this since 2013. The once spiritual successor to Diablo 2 has gone its own way, created the best ARPG on the market, with 8+ years of content. God forbid they went out of the "Diablo 2" path, adding a REAL end game, deeper mechanics and lots of content every three months. PoE isn't dying. This league broke new records. People, players and streamers are all enjoying the league - and the current iteration of the game. And people are happy playing even WITH the massive performance issues we've seen this league. And on top of that, you have PoE 2 in a few years. Look, PoE isn't perfect, FAR from. It has a ton of issues. But dying? Just because you don't like Harvest? Why are people unable to debate anything, without screaming Ragnarok? Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

" If you look at the numbers at the moment, playership is at an all time low. Just compare the same time in previous leagues. Don't fool yourself. Enjoy. |

" Either you need to explain your definition of "all time low", or you need to point me towards some other source of numbers than Steam Charts, because the numbers over there tells a different story. Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

PoE got a boost earlier as it was launch on Epic store, there is a game dought early of the year, & the pandemic. PoE isn't the only game getting boosted in numbers.
Let's us not pretend there is something magically about the league or POE has some magical improvement that we somehow missed. YOu can enjoy PoE & happy with its relative sucess but stop acting like this game is rubbing shoulder with likes of Fortnite or LoL |

" You waste your time he is a pure doomsayer to a point it feel like he work for a company in the arpg industry x). Yep number in players is in an all time high same with watched hours on stream or peak viewers etc. New players are flooding in but "muh it's dying". It's like they try to convince themselve it is to somehow give them a reason to leave but they even fail at that. To vanquish without perils is to triumph without glory.

" https://i.imgur.com/lOTt03j.png Since i started this game in january the number of players both in average, in peaks, The twitch views number in average and peak went up by 50%. but man if you hate this game so much as you say in every single forum post you make why don't you instead go away and do something else instead of ranting there ? Games is good. got better. Many peoples are happy me included and the stats shows it's the case for many if it's not for you fine then but stop doomsaying here everyday when facts aren't even going your way. Yes the game could be better in many aspect imo and from what the exilecon and overall ggg communication have been about them they atleast try to go in the right direction imo and that's nice. if it's not the case for you fine then but don't take your feeling for general opinion thanks To vanquish without perils is to triumph without glory.

" For people who play the game for more hours a week than a full time job. Think about that. " The chaos:exalt ratio is basically where it always is this league. The economy hasn't even changed, let alone been hurt. Also I find the economy argument about anything silly. Destroying the economy by making items available without trading constantly is something this game sorely needs. If the economy breaks more likely than not something good for players happened. " The power creep has been keeping the game alive this whole time. There also have been 0 challenge for most of it's life, it's a grind not a hard one, one you just pop on the TV and kill monsters mindlessly. |

" I think statement like XXX game is dead are often BS fanboys' hatred. There are people who claimed Fortnite is dead too....But the opposite happened. Every major entertainment IP wanted to partner with EPIC, Marvel, DC, Star war, Street fighter, Terminator, Predator. Anyway your points are fine, PoE will not died, it has a very hardcore fanbase. It may however lose userbase to other games. The thing is, there isn't much competition in ARPG for the past 8 years. There are however many upcoming ARPG, like D2R, D4. last epoch as well as Lost Ark (the announced a Western release a while ago). If D4 has only 1/2 the customization of PoE at launch, I am GG to GGG, so I no one need to tolerate the bad about PoE, like constant Disconnect login issue in Europe, one shot BS, no MPm repetitive instanted levels. I am sure I am not alone. Remember also, many people who play PoE were Diablo & D2 fan that was disappointed in D3. They or we are still Diablo fans, & to me, I never loved PoE worlds & characters. PoE never bother to make Lore or story a major part of the game. Never even bother to make some simple slideshow 2D cutscene to explain the events, & the half streampunk world just doesn't feel as cool as Santuary & the lore of Diablo. The fantasy/lore/setting matters not to many, but matter to many. I am the latter. The chracters & world in Dinblo are just vastly superior for me than PoE.
