Constant crashes with no bug messages 3.13.1

at this point i try everithing that was sugested to help this issue with no luck. Is day 2 of crashing and rly i sick of it already. Evry 2 - 3 min crash to destop. Is it rly that difficult to roll back patch and fix it on your time not ours?

acording multiple post its is about ryzen but not only 1 gens is affected.
others have fps drps up to 40% and while other point blank crashing without any error msg.Towns load 30 sec up to over a minute with SSDs. Never had this problem befotre this patch and other ppl that dont crash have the same problem with texture loading and fighting unrendert mobs.

Only workable solution to this point is disabeling multithreding ( in game or bios ) but then you are basicly left alone with sinlge procesor handeling poe that is like 8bit marion with screan tering to point where you lose more xp then you gain. Uninstalling KB4598242 helps only on handfull maschines.

coudl it be that the patch notes have a seacret where it coudl be ?

" Texture streaming has been updated to lessen CPU usage and improve overall performance on weaker systems.
The High texture quality option has been re-enabled for players on the Vulkan client with 3000mb of Video RAM or less. Previously when the Vulkan renderer ran out of Video RAM it would crash, but now it just degrades performance. We recommend only using High texture quality if you have 3000mb of Video RAM or more. "

As it allways is fun to play but atm its not to chek forums for a fix without GGG even properly respond that they working on that.

Can you please try deleting the DailyDealCache, MOTDCache and ShopImages subfolders from the "Documents\My Games\Path of Exile" folder and let us know if this issue persists?

I have done this as well as run as admin and set the game to run at high priority, I have also reinstalled both my drivers and the game. While this has helped I still crash after a several minutes (under 10 most of the time) so I am un-able to clear much in the time span. The POE logs give FMOD errors and failed to allocate (with alignment 16) memory or just says out-of-memory.
Today it's really bad for me. Beetween 2-5 crashes every map.
Happened maybe once per hour last few days.

Disabling SMT from the BIOS isn't the same thing as disabling multithreading in the game. You're still using multiple cores.
I don't notice any performance drop from disabling SMT. Disabling MT from the game drops my fps 90%

Hey I followed the advice for SMT. Disabled it but I still got texture popping and game freezes and than crash to desktop after ~5min. Trying to rollback windows update now and Ill let you guys know it it solves anything.
Sooo... the windows patch KB4598242 wasnt the issue after all. Still crash regular with multithreading on.
Ciao!
Maybe the issue is not Windows but with path of exile?
PLayed without any crashes for 1h after uninstalling latest windows update. Also running in fullscreen. Game is still choppy as hell but at least no crashes.
The longest i've been connected was after disabling SMT in the Bios for Ryzen CPU's, have not disconnected for about an hour now where i've disconnected every 5 minutes before.
Another fix for people where Uninstalling the windows update didnt work.

If you have an nvidia card, do a clean install of patch 457.51. Make sure its an clean install (i left out the geforce experience programm aswell, because its not needed)

The game hasnt crashed since. (This was done on a friends pc Ryzen 7 1700x - GTX 1060)

Another thing a friend has done was deleting the path of exile folder in Documents. (Make sure you copy your filters and configs/hideouts before)
-Delete the whole PoE Folder in Documents.
-Game creates a new one on start.
-Close the game
-copy your files back into the folder
- Run the game. Worked for him atleast
