GGG it's time to release a statement about what happened this league.

I must be playing a different game.

Heist is so much fun for me, last time I had that much fun was during Blight. Delerium or Legion were completely unplayable for me, Harvest as well I did not last more than a week in those.

Now Heist is super fun, I love the idea of NPCs that join me, their stories are great, the heist mechanic is super rewarding and the best is, I have not crashed a single time or had a dc since league start.

I would say that for me, the game runs better than ever before. My FPS since Bloom is around 30-40 which I dislike, but my pc is quite old so it is to be expected. I still want to disable it though, just like with shadows, so if that comes I will be willing to spend money again.

I have more challenges done and i'm on ps4. No way in a million years would i believe you're playing the league because i know how little I've played it

Some players like the GAME enough to come back for a new league. Even though they do not necessarily like the LEAGUE, they still like the GAME. Diablo 2 and 3 players often returned for a new league WITHOUT added content.

Stop focusing on challenges. They tell you nothing.
Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

Did caps-lock get stuck on your keyboard buddy? I have zero understanding for all of you who are jammering on and on about my challenges. I haven't target famred any challenges I just play the game. Also why is it that when someone critiques GGG you must also stop playing the game?! That is such a wierd thing to say.

The very reason for the post was to try to get an explanation regarding what went wrong this league and why we are still waiting for a proper functioning league after a month. Never have I said that I hate Heist, I actually really like it and it has been very profitable. But there are still a lot of wierd problems with it that has taken far long to fix due to the fact that a lot of wierd directions was taken with the league mechanics that had to be countered in the first place.

The fact that your door opening companion still gets stuck disarming traps due to perma interrupts and other wierd AI behaviours a month into the league is a joke and this league has proved that GGG either has to start making 4 month leagues or have less ambitious projects. Also treating the current game as some sort of experiment for Poe 2 that won't be released for another 2 years has to stop. Some stuff can absolutely be tested but lately it seems as we are some sort of guinea pigs when leagues start and that is not ok.

Stop focusing on how many challenges I have completed. I obviously love the game otherwise I wouldn't have a lvl96 char for example. But accepting mediocrity is the road to stagnation and decline and we all want a better game in the end.
they'll just say covid happened.

every company does it.

"yeah but you know... covid and shit."
they don't need a statement, you just need to use your head.

This league added a lot to the mechanics of skills and items, so much so that it WILL no matter how much testing (private or open beta) they had.
Anything they add to the game that touches on skills, passives, gear, monster mods and area mods WILL add new instance crashes and past the most common ones there will be some that require tens of thousands of hours testing to find, which then become common when you have 250k people on at any given time over launch week.

ANY league they add will give new problems and additional testing dose not improve much (want proof? go look at the patchnoted for Fall of Oriath and the ones in the week or so after.
FoO had a player beta and an additional 3 month testing and STILL released in a bugged state with instance crashes, client crashes and other mechanical bugs
Ancestral Bond. It's a thing that does stuff. -Vipermagi

He who controls the pants controls the galaxy. - Rick & Morty S3E1
Now you're going after the music?
Statement is pointless because words mean nothing. Actions have meaning. I demand a free supporter pack.

Actually you got it backwards, it's GGG that needs to use their collective heads and not introduce 450 different new mechanics and skills to a new league that will make it impossible for them to balance and properly test everything during their 12-13 week dev time. This time they especially screwed up and it's time for a change to what they think is doable during that short period of time. Development of games is super hard and I cannot understand why they make it so hard for themselves.

Open your eyes.

People don't care about a few crashes/bugs, they care about the actual league content being released in such a state that it barely functions for 1/3 of the league.

This isn't a Heist issue, it's been the same for some time.
