FIX YOUR MAP DROPS. FIX THEM. FIIIIIX THEEEEEM!
Yeah.. just bought tons of high tier maps yesterday and only get t10s and lower. Map drops is a fkin joke atm. Like... i wanna play "end game" but GGG seemingly dont want me to.

The issue always will be the stupid stones regardless.
Not happy that they kinda try to force players to trade they didnt even think in making a system where you could get A) hardlocked on progress due to RNG B) too much "freedom" with the stones making you somewhat softlocked as well. C) see B then A Like I said some pages ago, if I run out of maps I simply log off for that day. Might be me but I just don't stress out by these things anymore it's like talking or dropping feedback to walls. "Parade your victories, hide your defeats. Mortals are so insecure."

" What about players that are not here to optimize their gameplay, but to progress in the story? That don't want to trade for chisels or vaal orbs or fragments, and thus can't put them on every map? That don't want to spend chaos on each map because the game doesn't drop enough chaos orbs for that? The "theory on clean paper" in that case becomes reality rather quickly. Your options to "change the variables in your favor" become rather limited at that point. Yes, I know, if you run your maps juiced enough, you can get enough back. But that pretty much forces you to play the game in a certain way - either you do most side content to get what you need for mapping, or you trade, which lots of players hate. And then, when you are not easily sustaining because your maps are very juiced, you run into the "barely sustaining" category. And that is where you are at a very realistic risk to get screwed over by the system. Which is why I say that it is not a very good system (I do admit though that it has gotten better over time). Add to that the effects of selective perception, and you have players getting frustrated. Every league. Do you think that is good? I don't, I would like pretty much everyone to have fun in this game. Apart from that, dropping zero red maps when running 7 T13 maps is unlikely, but not as unlikely as you maybe think. Assuming that a T13 map drops, on average, 1.5 red maps (I know, if they are very juiced, they probably drop more on average), you'd expect such a streak of 7 maps with no red map drops about every 5000-6000 maps. A lot more maps are run each day on the servers. Smaller "streaks" of 2-3 maps giving no returns at all I am sure you have experienced yourself already. Remove Horticrafting station storage limit.

Forces you to play the game a certain way? Do you mean using the currency you have acquired to help you reach a point where you can self-sustain T14+ maps without having to juice them?
And if you are unlucky and go on a streak without current tier map drops, then you keep running the maps that you do have, which yeah, could be one tier down. If you are pushing maps, yes it can be painful at times. You never need to go out and actually buy any chisels or anything, just start juicing maps that you do have with chisels, sac frags and vaal orbs, and you will be fine. You will eventually reach a point where alch and go sustains. |

" Thats good enough to sustain ~T8 maps but nowhere near good enough to sustain T13s. If you want to sustain T13s, make sure your atlas progression is sitting at about 120 - give or take. You barely had half of that, so ofc you cant sustain. You were extremely lucky to make it this far to begin with. Thats not bad RNG, thats how the game is supposed to work. You are trying to skip progression and blame the game for it, if it doesnt work out. Thats on you. Fix your progression, try again and report back. You should yield way better results that way, but obviously you have to put in the time to pull it off. Atlas progression is key to sustain. Skip that and watch your map pool go up in flames. |

Progressing is running out of maps because you didn't get any from RNG?
if people run out of t14 while trying to get the conqueror to spawn cuz you need 6-8 fucking maps for a conqueror for whatever purpose while the system itself isnt on your side.. should you go back to "farm" t8-10 and go back to t14 to pick your progression because "rng" (more like the system still has flaws) again? that's not progression it's regression. How to progress through that? oh right here comes the "trade should do it" I tell you what, I will keep "complaining" when my atlas progression is shit and I will keep having a chuckle at people defending the pretty bad system rather than questioning the system because it works for you. Sure keep banging your head against the wall rather than trying to understand the system and make it work for you.
Ive never had trouble sustaining maps in years and I dont buy maps, I sell them. Conquerors dont matter that much. They are somewhat important, but atlas progression is far more important. So focus on that and not the conquerors. There are tons of tools available to do just that and once you did it, sustaining maps to tackle conquerors will drop naturally. No need to trade at all, if you are patient and understand how it works. |

" 1) I don't have a problem. 2) You are the one that has no clue. What I said can be verified by anyone. Place your stones where ever you want. Roll your map however you want. Run the map. Review all the maps that dropped during your run. What you will find is, the colors/tiers assigned to the maps that dropped, directly corresponds to the colors/tiers of the maps shown in the atlas. In other words, if your atlas says map XYZ is white/tier 5, and map XYZ drops durning your run, it's going to be white/tier 5. Period. |

That still doesn't change the fact that the map TIER is rolled first, and then the game chooses from the available maps AT THAT TIER.
So as long as you have at least 1 T14 map on your atlas, you will get all the T14s you would get if you have 15 on the atlas. Remove Horticrafting station storage limit.
