What I said was that I haven't had "many" issues with sustain - there were a few instances where I had to drop down a couple of tiers briefly.

One time purchases of white maps, whether from Zana or other players, to boost early game atlas completion is nothing new - I've done the same thing in every league as early investment into atlas completion bonuses has always been one of the best ways to increase map drops across the board.

The few yellow and early red maps I bought (again, for completion bonuses, not because I was out of maps or needed the connections) were bought out of pure impatience, not necessity - as I already had the connections to drop them naturally over time.

I leveraged my garden to alch/chaos spam maps as needed for high pack size mods, didn't really use chisels on anything below t13, always did master missions and their extensions (safehouse, temple, etc.), always ran vaal side areas, used sextants on 4-stacked regions (never bought any sextants, just used the ones that dropped for me), used fragments and scarabs on high density maps, and probably the three most important things - 1) I cleared every single map down to as close to 0 mobs remaining as I could tolerate, 2) I focused on completing atlas bonus objectives, and 3) I did my research on watchstone management to ensure smooth atlas progression moving upwards and no wasted map drops.

Currently, I'm slammin through t14-t16's to fill out my remaining watchstones and I seem to be sustaining without problems. I did buy some maps here and there - not because I ran out of maps, but because I wanted those maps to fill out my atlas bonus... most of those were white maps early on and cheap unique maps. I bought a small handful of yellow and cheap red maps (nothing over 5-6c) for the same reason - missing atlas bonuses, not because I ran out of maps.

Maybe it's possible that there are people out there who are doing everything right and are getting legitimately screwed but tbh I wouldn't be surprised if many of the complaints are sourced from atlas mismanagement.

There were a few instances when I was just getting into quad watchstone regions where I had to go back and farm t12's or t13's for a bit but it didn't take long to get back into deep reds. People in this thread who claim to drop from red maps all the way down to white maps are just uhh... idk dude, that 100% sounds like a you problem and not a problem with the league.

You do realize one of the common options of Harvest craft is to sacrifice low tier maps to get master missions, don’t you?
