good ol' "it's not a thing at all cuz it never happen to me"

poe community..

I don't think that applies. We have "Map sustain is worse than ever" threads literally every single league. Many of them. And quite a lot of them contain "last league that was better" statements.
I think it's a mixture of confirmation bias, people posting more if they see an issue than if they don't, and the in-game price for running maps being quite high compared to other games.

I wish there was some kind of global statistic about maplevels dropped per maplevel run across all leagues. My guess is the numbers would not be as different as these posts make it out to be.

Im kinda sure, this league and Bestiary have lowest number possible in red tiers map drops.

Also Im sure the Legion, and Harbingers were the most richest in map drops too. So, your statement not so true afterall. Well, it have its nishe, yes, some people always not happy. But there are raw numbers too.

Like what you have in map tab when league ends. And I remember how it was where..

And sure, many do so.
Afterall.

None of us have the raw numbers. It's early in the league yet. The map pool only starts growing well once you have a high number of map bonus%. And then it will continue to grow until the end of the league.
Don't compare your map pool to the pool you have in the readonly tab from last league. And don't compare to "what I had this time last league", because that allows for all the usual errors of confirmation bias, etc...

Only GGG has raw numbers.

Yeah, but that's like saying the virus is a hoax while people suffer around the world - ok maybe not that bad.

But if you play enough it's noticeable when map sustain is much easier or much harder. Metamorph was much easier versus Synthesis - the folks who didn't complain were not just running the mechanic asap but also all the other previous league content just to get by and say no problem.

Mob density/additional mobs is typically a factor - more monsters = more potential drops outside of artificial loot adjustments.
Yep, totally over league play.

I dont need to compare at all.

I remember how much choice I had in these leagues, and I see actually how starving I am with sextants, t14,15 and t16 maps. And how they are literally sending me to t7 , t11 and t12. And this is with 145 atlas bonus..

Also I usually do 36 challenges, but now with so poor currency and map drop and low population om maps doing so, I already considering to quit league. Its just too much.

Game should be fun.

This league is one of the most generous for me when it comes to map drops, same as others post-Sirus leagues. I'm really surprised to see so many people struggle with it.

'nuff sed :)

Do you bother with the garden? Because if you don't, you can't compare with last leagues, when you probably did use the league mechanics. If you do, then maybe you're just unlucky at the moment. By the end of the league, you'll probably have roughly your usual map pool.

Another example of why you should not compare yet:
Typically as I progress in a league I run ever more juiced-up maps, because when I'm still moving up the tiers my char isn't as strong as later on. So I try to roll benevolent maps. This also makes my pool grow slower early in the league. Tell me that plays no role for you.

I'm not saying there is no difference in the map drops from league to league. I'm just saying it's nowhere near as catastrophically bad as people write EVERY SINGLE league early on.

I have maps.

Alchs on the other hand... Those just disappear. To make up for it I've started upgrading the maps in the garden. A few days ago I was back up to 70 alcs and now I'm back in the garden rolling maps to save up more.
that usually wastes time better spend killing shit , but does work. even a single inventory of shit can greatly affect alch sustain
