Harvest could be worst league ever?

I've crafted so many things and ended up with 50% less characters made and 100% more money earned(and they just piled in my stash with no use...), so in my opinion not a very good league from a gameplay perspective.
Two-handed - Mop
Dual Wield - Slippers
One-handed & Shield (close combat) - Brush & Basin
One-handed & Shield (ranged) - Hair Dryer & Mirror
Main-hand & Off-hand (evil witch) - Sponge & Soap

metamorph was nice....now i kinda miss blight too since it was pretty rare this league
I am amazed they have't scraped the league by now and pushed a flashback in its place it would have twice or more the current population.

Also I never expected the 1000+ posts! Thank you all for your views many of you loved the league but many more hated it. Either way because this threat was so supported GGG would have seen it. Hopefully some of the more constructive comments are taken into account for future leagues. For my part I have been playing since beta, I pretty much hate the current form of mapping I find every map extremely generic and monotonous, mobs die far to fast and genuinely interesting drops are almost non existent.

The best recent league I can remember that added real content to the game was Delve. Sadly GGG turned away from adding new alternatives to mapping I would like to see them sharply lean away from mapping for a league or two.

Agreed (I'm not a deep delver, but I like how it stands aside of the usual).


The thing I liked about metamorph is that it basically 'fixed' the map boss and you have a reason to clear the map nicely.


I find Syndicate a good one too, except being randomly jumped by something that used to be 10x (or more) as strong as the map boss. Same for bestiary, but that was all before the tuning. They're in a good spot now I think.


Delirium was ok, except the herald stacking mid league nerf fiasco. Cluster jewels are awesome. Too much grey for every map, but for now and then it's pretty good.
Did you try turning it off and on again?
Has it been said if Harvest is going core at all?

Just started playing again. Wondering if I should learn the mechanic or not.

Alright. I won't invest too much in it then.

Crafting looks good. Seems like a lot of inventory clutter with all the seeds.

Reminds me of the net problem at the start of bestiary.

There's a dedicated seed stash, accessible both in the garden and your hideout.

Also, a lot of the good crafts are available from just tier 1 seeds, so if you don't care for it then don't feel the need to push for higher tiers by trying to set up the whole irrigation system thing. Just plant those T1 seeds and reap the rewards in a couple maps. You can access stuff from your stash for crafting using the button at the bottom of the Harvest crafting screen.

Not the same. GGG could easily rework the garden mechanic to be less clunky - just make all the tiers work like tier 1 seeds do (just with more and higher tier maps required to Harvest them). That's not the reason they've chosen to drop it. It's being shelved (for now) mainly cos its crafting potential is too powerful - some people are literally running around with near perfect, virtually imported from PoB-like, items. It was always an experiment to see how adding deterministic crafting to the game would work out. And evidently they're not too happy with the results (though some players definitely were).

Right.

I'll check it out. Won't go too deep into it especially if not going core.

Seems like a seed bag would have been nice for your inventory or something.

I enjoyed this league managed to craft some good items that otherwise i woulda just farm all league to buy and had some fun so we..
