" You just described Standard which was part of his point. Leagues - Major part of the business model for a while now. "New leagues great for a fresh start" etc etc plastered on screen during character creation. STD is stated as default option. I play this League despite disliking the mechanic, for me there is more then enough to still enjoy the game and a New League is not too far off. Yes the hype for a new League and anniversary already started. Shocker its like GGG pushes new Leagues and their mechanics. |

Good league for crafters. but not for me, i love maping and even with self craft items that worth me 0.5 day, i feel nothing, with a t17 promenades 150 quantity it feel empty maps, yes you can buy del orb but they worh 45c each, so its - for me not + profit, all what they need to do when they see many whines is add delirium in map device for 12c, and so on, i craft many good items for me but for what? Maps now is 2 min run max and zero drops :D |

" Most items cost in the realm of 100x-1000x to craft without harvest. Not only that, they are far more of a mind numbing low chance slamfest to make without deterministic annuls and exalts. It's not stingy to not want to buy 2000 potential bases, use a few thousand exalts and annuls, and only then have a decent chance of getting what you wanted. It's not stingy to desire to deterministically and progressively create the item that enables your build, or pushes it to the limit. There's no powercreep here. Creep implies it's slow and could be overlooked, this is a full out sprint.

" Harvest crafting system gives you steady progression, slower or faster, depending on RNG and own knowledge of the crafting system. This is good for people like me (and not only those people) who can't play more than say 25-30h per week. It still rewards more people who play more and have better knowledge of the game, so I don't see the problem. I get the feeling that most complaints stem from the fact that some people want crafting to be in the hands of the few, so they can sell overpriced shit. like their semi-failed crafting attempts. That's my analysis and even when it's simplistic, it's way more legit than your elementary school analysis of "ppl who like harvest are just stingy and dont want to use currency to craft". imo players should get most upgrades by picking up loot from slayed enemies
