Harvest could be worst league ever?

The problem is flashback takes almost no time or resources, so it should NOT be the next league but put into effect immediatly as this league is trash. Next league should be next league not flashback. They can use the Flashback league to stop hemorrhaging what few players are left and maybe get some of the ones that were disgusted with this league back and just run that in conjunction with this league.
Crafting is the most boring aspect of the game and they created a league based on it with extra steps and even more time consuming micromanagement.

Actual 5Head development right there.
The more I limp into this league the more it becomes obvious that GGG's design philosophy can't actually support progression based crafting. Using RNG crafting even slightly more targeted as it is in Harvest just doesn't work for making slightly better items. The cost of making marginally better, really good, and insane items is basically the same.

Trying to improve on this terrible crafting system isn't really worthwhile, gut it and try again from the ground up. Otherwise just embrace easy trade as the way people get their marginal consistent upgrades.

whoever came up with this league is trying to sabotage the game. does GGG have a mole in their team?
I personally really dislike where GG is going with regards to crafting in this game. Adding more crafting options into the game will just make dropped items even more useless and essentially turn them into just becoming bases. I really wish they’d re-examine their whole approach here for POE 2. No one wants to play an ARPG just to go around and vacuum up currency and useless items all night, and then when they’re done spend like half an hour sorting thru them in their quad tabs.

Make the game more fun and exciting, not the reverse.

Last I checked it takes "resources" because they put microtransactions for everyone (lets not forget the free box at level 35) there where people basically spend their time there in hope to with on the tencent roulette and win a set.

Too late, items just feel like bases now. Crafting has gone too far, too many layers and gardens have made many popular currencies nearly obsolete.

The best thing I can describe now is: "Bloat". Bloat with tabs, bloat with mechanics.

I mean at this point if there's another league with a billionth extra layer you're going to have people quit permanently.
Biggest problem I have with the league is setting up the farm, it is painstaking and tedious and while not difficult it is confusing; finding that one pylon that is not connected right is tedious.

Would be a lot better if they just did away with all the piping and made it automatic.

A simple fix could be, collectors have 2 types, with and without disperserser, or be upgradable from std to disperser. Storage, both essence and recipes, as well as connecting between collectors is automatic.

If I wanted to be a plumber I would have done an apprenticeship.

Yeah. I’ve drifted further away from their design ideas for a long time now, so maybe it’s naive to think that POE 2 will be completely different. Chris did talk about reducing the amount of junk that drops tho, but maybe they still intend you to use whatever’s dropping for crafting. I personally wish they went back to something like 2.0 in terms of crafting systems and even removed stuff like catalysts and essences. Or make some type of items like jewels/belts non-craftable. Do something to make dropped items be more fun again.

Part of the problem is that dropped items are awful 99.99% of the time, Talisman was proof of that. You went through 1000s of amulets that league and you still probably didn't find one you wanted to put on.

The entire issue with crafting and looting is basically that it's like buying lottery tickets, and even harvest's lottery tickets with one less number isn't great.

I think that it's not going to get close to a fix until they go back an entirely rethink their approach to items.
