worst League ever.... sad what happened to GGG, ill check it out in a Month when they added some Area Mobs to it, and some loot.
feels like i dont get any loot, is this Harvest shit was an April fools joke, i would play it for a Day, but not for a Month....

There's no "mini-game." The farming mechanic is fine, they give you the means to automate it, it's less involved than Metamorph. The issue is the fights are trivial and drop essentially nothing, at least early and mid-game. Like I did 24 t1 seeds a couple times and I'd get like a single alt out of it.

This is 100 times slower and more complex than meta. Its also extremely clunky when building and connecting your garden.
When you have 6+ plots of each color, multiple pylons etc. The ammount of time wasted before even harvesting, which again means reading as much or more than meta once you kill the mobs.
Its plain horrible in comparison to picking 5 body parts to put in a device.
Perfomance wise this is a dream.
Beyond that its mind numbingly boring.
The sheer ammount of seeds i need to sort through in acts + white maps already has me bored as hell.
The garden interface is terrrrrrible.
It seems rushed and unpolished.
Many items are frustrating to place and link, the fact you have to manually place seeds higher than T1 makes the chore even more boring.
Cool idea, terrible implementation .
You also are wasting your time farming and not doing it as there is little loot to be had outside finding a delerium mirror.
If you think You can realistically farm to T16 ignoring the league and make enough currency to make a good build you are dreaming, outside of a mirror or HH drop.
While i love that i can play any build with zero fps loss im severly umderhwelmed.
There is too many results when harvesting, not enough mobs come from the plants to make it fun .
I play PoE for an arpg, this league is far too little arpg and far too much farmville.
Then there is the seed storage... Like gross, i am not portaling in to drop 3-5 seeds off each time , thats 2 load screens for what ? Even with my non existent loading screens it is disgusting.
If delerium felt bad because you couldnt slow down at all this feels like a waste of my time.
Normally id be so pumped by the new league im pulling an all nighter, sadly i cant even get excited about doing this for another 4-8 weeks.
Every once in a while GGG forgets that their own game is arpg and puts in some shitshow of a minigame, that requires spreadsheets, third party websites and/or ton of micromanagement, that part of player base simply hates.

I have yet to use a spreadsheet, third party site, watch a tutorial, or even spend longer than 2 minutes figuring out my garden and I'm benefiting from it already. Why does everyone pretend these systems are somehow ridiculously complex when in reality they're just easily understood, easily used mechanics. Everything is easily figured out and decently explained, and just like every other "complex" league before it follows a very straightforward set of rules. Just because people can't optimize it themselves due to lack of intelligence or interest, doesn't mean it isn't totally doable without outside help.
There's no powercreep here. Creep implies it's slow and could be overlooked, this is a full out sprint.

The crafting aspect is ok (not having to spend currency low level at the start of a league) but SERIOUSLY come on! Games are supposed to be fun... yet again a league appears with an intricate system that nobody understands at the start ( no doubt GGG will patch it to explain what should have been explained to begin with ) but come on GGG FIRE the person that has been in charge of league mechanics, listen to your community! nobody wants intricacy! This game is gearing more and more towards streamers... a new player would take one look at this game name and think What.. the.. actual.. f.ck. The best leageues were the simplest.... get a grip no1 wants this bullsh*t

Seriously...enter a portal and plant your seeds. I think someone was feeling pent up when they came up with this. I agree with the previous comments. And who in the world wants to be a farmer anyway?

I don't see myself playing this league for a long time. I see two main reasons for this:
Without extra monsters maps feel very empty.
and
Lack of long-term rewards and no feeling of actuall progression. Nearly all of the league rewards are related to crafting gear. The question is for how long average playing player can be interested in crafting gear and consider possibility of doing this as some form of reward? There is limit to everything, I don't need dozens of nearly perfect items in my tab that have no value.
I play both trade and ssf, and even in ssf i never really had problems killing endgame bosses. Now we get access to very powerfull toys but one thing is missing: challenging content.
You want delirium? 5% chance or prepare to trade a lot, if you are ssf you can already forget about it because league is not dropping map juice (scarabs, frags, actuall currency that can be spend on enriching maps beyond making them rare etc.).
Deep delving? No scarabs. Buy hey, at least among many tier 3 crafts there is one that adds 3 niko missions. Tho a lot of interaction with very annoying system and luck is necessary.

From the trailer "farmville" idea looked very bad and out of PoE context but now after i've seen it i have no desire to play at all.
This is my favorite game and yet it's so disappointing atm especially when you realize it's lasting all the way to September. Bloody hell...
Who in the right mind though someone would micromanage Farmville for 3 months.

On top of utterly boring mechanic all this goes. And by challenging content i don't think of farmville micromanaging.
