Harvest could be worst league ever?

I guess loot pinata is the only enjoyable "mechanic" for majority of people. Anything that even slightly lowers your kills/minute is the worst thing ever and hated so much that people drop the entire game. GGG should make an infinite monster vacuum in every map.

Look at the smooth decline of Delirium, compared to the nosedive of Harvest, lol. Harvest falling off a cliff playerbase-wise.

current league mechanic doesnt "slightly" influence common hacknslash gameplay, it interferes with it. i am complaining here from day 2 of the league and im not a hh zoom-zoomer and i hated delirium timers. there are elements that shouldnt have place in arpg genre.

tencentggg had some problems with schedule (covid), they should say "ok, we are short of time, we are starting 3-6 month legacy/flashback league to catch up" while doing QoL changes, balancing, performance improvements. everyone would understand it. but no, they came up with garbage idea, garbage league, and now say they are proud of this garbage. what my life has tought me, if you fucked up, you should stand up, say "i fucked up". denial is a bad option. new patch will be bad because the league gameplay loop is rotten in its core.

and, generally, did tencentggg actually researched how many players CRAFT in this game? you spam other players to buy their base through the horrible trade site, then you just stand there with 3 different websites open studying mods and odds, clicking on the item over and over. wow that is fucking fun.

so in this league you craft 5% of time, 5% of time you mess with horrible gardening process, 90% of time you play standart.

Look at bug report forum. On the first 3 days there is still people to complain bugged quest state for havest gear

After no reply and "what we are working on" have no mention to fix it. Did you expect player still playing when they bugged for 1 week and going to 2nd?

I don't think Harvest can be salvaged at this point. Even if they added a button to open all seeds at once in the garden removed any growing requirements and added extra packs of seed monsters to maps it would not save it. Less people playing it than the mid point of last league and tho's people will not be back for just a patch.

I really hope that what GGG got out of this is that the base end game, clearing the atlas and mapping is really boreing. If it was good people would play standard or this league far more. The generated maps all feel the same as one another because they lack features. They do have different monsters, but I was playing a BV HOI Assasin, so I did't even see the monsters on screen most of the time and map bosses last 0.5 seconds and are slowed so much by chill and temp chains they do no skills at all for the short time they are alive.

There is a real power creep issue, I was a magic find character with 33% quanity find and a tab day 2 and able to clear t15-16s without issue on 3.6k hp and no real defences. The best outcome for this lazy waste of a league is that they realize that we really don't want Poe 2 to just have a new campaign and some extra classes. We need it to have an entirely different end game that is less repetitive tedious and more fun, with bosses that you look farward to killing and reward real loot, not just a base to craft on or a unique that has a 1/100 chance of being good.

The good news is, the next league is going to be a better one for sure.

It simply cannot get worse than Harvest (Cross fingers).

Base on Steam Records for the past 6-8 leagues, the week 1 is the worst league. In terms of %, yes it is the worst. Cant get even worst anymore.

The only really stupid thing so far is the stun mechanics.
In the skill tree we have only two passives that give a small% of avoid stun, one for melee and one for caster. That is, if you attack slowly and get hit on the mob is over.
Melee in the game remains crap. If you take for example freezing pulse with only arcane surge, you can go to Act 4 without problems, now ... try to do something similar with some melee skill without splash.

Now in terms of graphics, at least everything was very beautiful, not to mention the vulkan
