Harvest could be worst league ever?

I don't understand why GGG always has to take a pretty nice idea and make it as complex and annoying as possible to interact with. The fact that Chris said it would NOT be complicated is just laughable at this point.
1% of your players will actually drool at this complex shit and the rest of us will shrug and wonder what the hell you were thinking.
GGG has such a huge goodwill with me but it's seriously starting to dissipate.

This league is a good indicator of the following questions:

1) How "content" are you with the base game?
2) Do you require MORE currency drops and MORE monsters to kill each league?
3) Do you even take into account the influx of map density we've had the last league, through Blight, Betrayal, Delirium and Legion? Not to mention scarabs?

I understand finding Harvest seed growing a bit dull. But to write it off as the "worst league ever" because there isn't MORE to kill and MORE drops, so you can buy everything you need in the first week(s)? We're starting to get into entitled territory here.

Last league was the most speed-driven and density-driven league of all time. Some people got what they wanted there, currency rained from the sky and you could buy everything your heart desired. Now we have a slower league, aimed at players that don't want a speed-driven currency-fest.

All leagues can't appeal to everyone. And it's OK to take a league break. Stop being salty about it.

This man/woman (or whatever) deserves a cookie. Everyone is SOOOO entitled... maybe you should play the game for the game itself, not for the single new mechanic and loot explosions everywhere.
Lot of the posts just seem to show taht people are not enjoying the game at all, unless they get TONS of stuff all the time, and ideally it is something new every few weeks... What about stopping for a moment and enjoying the game as is, and not as YOU want it to be?

There's nothing wrong with wanting ton of stuff to kill, loot explosions or currency fests. At the end of the day it's still gear based arpg. If there are increased currency drop rates, because of some league mechanic, doesn't automatically mean everyone can just go and buy everything within a week. It doesn't work that way. In trade leagues economy balances itself out around those things.

Suggesting that we should enjoy base game, which we been playing over and over again for almost 10 years now, is just dumb thing to say.

Yes, i want new and impactful mechanic every couple of months. What's the point of the new league otherwise.
If you really think Harvest is worse than:

Essence
Perandus
Synthesis

then you must really be dumb
This league is definitely awful. It feels worse than just playing standard. The mechanic takes away from the killing monsters to get loot instead of adding to it.

why wouldnt i like to have more monsters to kill or more loot explosions? its exactly why i play hack'n'slash videogames. go play cityskylines, dude.
dead game

I think I would appreciate Harvest league a lot more if I could actually get enough seeds to grow stuff. I get that league has to have a balance of mapping and league events, but right now there's basically no league events for me because I don't have enough seeds to grow. I plant all the seeds I find, I wait until I have 24 of them fully grown to harvest... yet my farm is almost always just sitting idle with nothing to plant... and I'm only using 1/4th of the entire farming spaces available! I was initially considering building a big farm full of collectors, but... no need. I only setup three collectors, and they're just idle majority of the time because I just don't have enough seeds. Am I supposed to trade for seeds to plant? Seems like a waste. I'm bored already. Give me some god damn seeds. Each seed cache should drop enough seeds to completely fill a 24 space section at the very least. Please, give me some seeds.

Oh.... and to make matters worse, seeds have level limitations, so the stuff I grow now can't even work on high level equipment that I'm using. I had a great time in the very beginning... I made all my beginner items have four linked sockets, removed junk mods, and added best mods and from lvl 1 to 50 the Harvest and the crafting was truly magnificent. But considering I got to lvl 50 in about 5 hours... I had awesome mods like "remove blah mod" and "augment with blah mod" and "change non-blue socket to blue" etc etc... really great useful stuff. I've been four-linking all the randomass uniques I've found because there's nothing else to craft. I need more seeds desperately.

PLEASE increase the amount of seeds that drop so that I have to struggle with space constraints to grow all the seeds I find... instead of having just three pathetic collectors that are sitting empty most of the time.

As for people complaining about the mechanics... not sure what's so confusing. The mechanics are actually quite simple and fun. It kinda reminds me of ambush league, but instead of opening random boxes they're seed clusters we planted.

Right now I get about 12 seeds at most per seed cluster. 12 seeds is half a harvest. That means: I have to do theoretically at least 2 maps before I can open 1 seed cluster. I want more seeds dammit.

Chris said it was an "experiment" - so the negative feedback is data for his said experiment. For those around for synthesis and beastiary you can't be surprised at their disgust since plenty was already said and done during those leagues - rehashing the aspects most people already showed their displeasure with.

You can have a league work that doesn't fall into the "zoom-zoom" category if you pay enough attention to player feedback.

As for the salt - I'm pretty annoyed that my cycloners were ruined, and that's what killed most of my desire to play before even considering the league. I even finally got my first headhunter only to end up throwing in it the stash because nothing that could use it does enough damage anymore to make it worth using. I missed the window to truly enjoy the brand's (removal of "shotgun" effect) and the only build I've played in league that's survived the onslaught of nerfs is a CA/TA trickster variant.

The biggest build "killer" has probably been the monster buffs since those health buffs have pushed the minimum dps threshold much higher than when I started with abyss. The atlas revision no longer makes skipping bosses practical so you can't just be a waveclear machine, you need to be able to kill them without taking forever and a day too.
Yep, totally over league play.

You're even dumber if you think harvest is a good league after they released the ones you mentionned. Everything is leading to the fact that they didn't learned from their past mistakes

Why are you so offended by people having an opinion? For one, people are criticizing the league mechanic, not the base game. Two, we enjoyed the base game just fine for YEARS, we just don't see a reason to partake in a league that's literally the same as standard (if we don't partake in the mechanic we hate). This league is like a new Diablo 3 season to a lot of us, basically no new content. And no, that doesn't mean the game is bad, just that there's no reason to partake in a league that adds nothing for us. Seems pretty simple to me, people get bored doing the same thing over and over and sometimes they want something new.
I'm enjoying the league.

The only thing i would have liked is if instead of just clicking and it poops out seeds. it would spawn randoms Monster's/%Chance of Boss that dropped the seeds.
