Yeah, it's absolute game breaker.
PoE is complex on it's own and that's more than enough. Takes years to master it.
Now, you come home from work/school/rl and you have to look at charts and bullshit to figure it out without any new action content whatsoever.

I'd rather watch paint dry than to grind whole game from 0 so i could grow a puzzle garden that gives crafting recipes.

It's a game which became a chore.

The game takes years to master, because there are TONS of relics from past leagues that serve basically the same or similar purpose than other mechanics (and people are confused what to do with all taht stuff), sometimes with slight differences. Not because of a "need of a spreadsheet" the problem is the game is designed with speedrunners and cookie-cutters in mind, that's why new mechanics need so much effort to master - if it was easy people would cry about it not being interesting, and being too fast to complete.
Hence the problem with this league - it is not a speedrun, it is not a loot explosion, it does not favour only the meta-builds. So people cry about it, becuase it is actually diferent.
But ultimately it does not come down to a any aprticular league, but the game direction and focus itself.

Overall this would be great overhaul of crafting => TO REPLACE the old system, not adding yet another layer to it.
To me its the worst league because i will remember it as the league that ruined berserker ascendancy to force people into Exert mechanic.

Went from fluid gameplay with lots of rage and berserk going to clunky ass melee. So much that i dont want to play my Berserker anymore at all. Back to Spellslinger.
I was so happy when I saw the trailer,I thought it was going to be so special.

It's no wonder you are disappointed. You trust trailers. I stopped watching them years ago.
This league doesn't provide enough excitement and content on its own but once it goes core it'll be more well liked I think. The time spent managing your garden is short enough that it works as a passive side mechanic to check on once in awhile depending on how often the garden will update after it goes core.

This is also a useful league for SSF players because it's not dependent on drops to get extra crafting utility.
I can't imagine it's likely for something to be worse than torment based on its integration.

But I was willing to give synthesis more of a chance than harvest, and that was definitely my least liked league since I've started.
Yep, totally over league play.

At least synthesis had good music.
You know that something is wrong with this league when reddit and poe forum posts and views have low numbers. It doesnt matter good or bad, the interest level is extremely low.

Although Delirium is hard, have good and bad comments but the interest level that is generated are there.

But this league, the players dropoff rate seems to be very high. And when players drop off, they dont even check forum anymore.

GGG will do something this friday because they need their first week KPI to be good. It is like 50% of the players drop off, the worse league ever.
