Will anyone try out Neverwinter when it hits OB? Also feedback on how the p2w is implemented

Hmph maybe but I never felt that way about POE skills - guess its my builds that favor fast paced never stop moving skills. I mean there is slow start but it quickly gets way faster to notice. I just feel as if i'm waiting for execution all the freaking time, totally breaks my combat experience. Feels totally detached and nonresponsive. And yeah, casuals, bleh, just leaves more of a 'casual-proof' feel, but I guess it's a matter of perspective/opinion.

I agree with DDO, one thing that kept me coming back, no casting timers no waiting for animations, keep moving and pay attention or stay still and die. If there is one thing they did amazing its the combat system imo. Too bad it turned/is turning into something... else...

I agree, it is different, but it is also refreshing... from my point of view rendering the character unable to move while attempting to use a skill makes much more sense to me.

Does not look anything like D&D to me.

I've seen some people compare this to Tera, would anybody here choose Tera over this game?

Hell no! Have you gone completely and utterly mad?

I'm just the one asking the question, I'd say the two games are different in concept, and can't be compared to one another.

Well... yeah. The only reason they compare it is the somewhat but not quite similar gameplay style. Other than that most people have no clue what theyre talking about. So its all good.
Im gonna install it tonight and give it a go, if anybodys interested to do a party or something post here a char name or PM me or some stuff like that :)

between neverwinter nights and elder scrolls going MMO to grab monies for greedy lard asses that take particular pleasure in raping the gaming community and pillaging any innovative /fun ideas, I have been experimenting with possibly going outside and doing something.
Hey...is this thing on?
gaming is such a mess.. its because of horrible consumers who allow them to do this crap. I just went and checked out the Neverwinter site.. I thought it actually looked pretty cool.. until I noticed it fucking sells you keys for real life money that you need to open chests.

I won't ever support a game like that, I praise PoE for making their microtransaction store not a pay2win or a paywall implemented game.

gaming as we know it is just getting worse and worse.. and idiots are allowing them to do it.

Let's not be too hasty now. That's crazy talk.

All the things I want to remember are in the places I'd like to forget.

Passed on this. Between PoE, DotA2 and things I want to do IRL, not much time for me to indulge in MMORPGs anymore. It looks cool at a glance, but as with any game published by a major publisher, you know what direction its going to go in..the shareholder's one.

Besides, Starbound is coming out soon-ish and that'll be my "casual" time.
