Will anyone try out Neverwinter when it hits OB? Also feedback on how the p2w is implemented
Te thread served its purpose i guess NW came and went.

Got 2 characters to about level 10 and haven't been back in since.
I will say this though, they did make the game pretty and it shows off the hero engine well, but I found it boring. It has DnD in the name and it has monsters from DnD but in no way shape or form does it remind me of playing actual DnD. |

yeah, same.
i started playing ddo well over two years ago simply becuase it was 'D&D" it went far away from it over the last year and a half, to say the least. but it looks like i'm going back to it now. lol |

the best thing about NW was meeting some of the people from here. POE isn't exactly the most social game in the world :D

So, I tried NW.
It was fun when I started, the game had some concepts of d&d 4e in it; since it was OB I didn't care much because I thought that they were going to add more content... So naive, the OB lasted for 6 weeks... and it's the same shallow implementation of d&d; after that I realized that PWE does not care at all about the quality of the game, their goal is to release unfinished MMOs and suck as much money as possible from their customers. The good thing is that thanks to it, I got NWN 2 to play good game based on d&d, and if I want to play an online game i have PoE, a game where their developers really care about quality. :P "The harder the game, the better." " You got just one thing wrong: its not PWE alone that killed the game, it's 4E that killed it (and will kill D&D altogether) |
