Will anyone try out Neverwinter when it hits OB? Also feedback on how the p2w is implemented

Well, yeah. Thing is, getting the gang back together for even a weekend can be pretty tough. We all turned 30 and suddenly it just wasn't as viable anymore. DDO feels sort of like what Bioware's NWN would have been as an MMO. I'm pretty cool with that.

Anyway. That's my thumbs down for Neverwinter, as someone who remembers THAC0 and Bladesingers. Way down.

why are you obsessed about small details, this game is incredibly fun to play...

I just got to play for a few hours. I think maybe this is one of those cases where ignorance is bliss. I haven't played many MMO's (I've only sampled a few) and I'm not well versed in D&D. I thought the game was fun enough to keep playing and I didn't feel overwhelmed by MMO "stuffs" while playing.
Combat was pretty damn fun. We'll see how it keeps me playing for. Doubt it'll take time away from PoE, but it's refreshing to have another game hold my attention.

did you try the foundry? I tried a dungeon the other day that was better then any content i been through, lvl 20 now.. might try some more foundry soon...

Because they had no way of interfering thus no way to fuck it up.
Toats agreed on the rest of your comment, i hoped they would take a different approach with this title sadly they didnt. What was cryptic thinking when they chose PW as a pub? What was nexon or gpotato busy?

Downloaded it. So far I have been forced to watch their intro movie 4 times (you cant skip it) because of getting disconnected half way through making my character haha. Finally rushed the create screen and.... 12k in the queue... I think ill leave it for a day or two :P Let them sort out the servers. We know the feels.

It's fun, I got in a couple days before the OB launch... It reminds me more of a better dragon age 2 than an MMO which is a nice feeling. There are a number of pay2convience systems that I disagree wtih, but none of them take away from the fun.

The foundry system where players generate quests and dungeons that you can play, is a lot of fun..I did one, forget it's name, but it was basically a huge bar brawl against demons, some of which where massive in size, was an absolute blast!

Todays maintaince times kinda stinks, 7am pst to 11 past..Which is 10am est to 2pm est.

Should i make another thread regarding how much p2w the game is or just edit the title to add it in this one? If its not game breaking i might consider giving it a try.
