Will anyone try out Neverwinter when it hits OB? Also feedback on how the p2w is implemented
I'm switching too, but that's 'cause PoE doesn't work for me anymore... But NW... I've had some bad experiences with Cryptic.

Well, shit.
Today is Sunday, right? I've been playing NW since Tuesday, and I must say, I am having a blast. I love the combat something fierce, and there is plenty to do otherwise. I got my wife to play, and in turn, she got one of her friends to play. It's something I would recommend trying out just to see what it has to offer. If you're not playing in because you've heard it's P2W, you're missing out. Yes, the cash shop has some pretty steep items, has paid respecs and the dropped lockboxes are bound to be a nuisance at some point, but I don't mind. I bought some keys for the gambooool cause, well, it's fun to gambooool. Hell, I craft all the time in PoE with currency because it's fun for me. This won't be taking PoE's coveted spot in my heart, but it's going to have to start sharing time with NW. I was very, VERY surprised at how much I liked it. All the things I want to remember are in the places I'd like to forget.

I'm hooked in NW can't stop playing, lvl 34 and everything so far is superb, lvling up and gearing up doesn't feel like a grind at all so I see no incentive for me to pay for better items.. seriously, I'm ok with what i got and eventually will get godly gear at 60, without putting another dime in, beside my 60$ founder pack.....

Neverwinter is awesome. I like PoE better but the drawbacks of PoE are pushing me to Neverwinter
Crafting doesn't exist in POE. Gambling does...and the house always wins.
Velocireptile - I LOL'ed. Which made me fart. I wish the office were empty right now :( Hardlicker - I had to push the dog out of the way so I could get to the sexy quilt. |

grass is always greener:
Path of Exile is the best F2P game out there. GGG knows how to run a good company. PWE knows how to run a good game too, right into the ground. He is right, the OP. About the amount of players this game will have, just look at any of PWE's other games to see he is right. This game is no different. link: http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?184131-I-would-probably-spend-a-lot-of-money-on-this-game-if-the-prices-were-halved ............................................................................. Jus thought it was funny. "the premier Action RPG for hardcore gamers."

" Hahaha. Well bet they bought Cryptic quite cheap, they'll make enough to cover the expenses, and then.. I dunno. There are things you keep coming back to, and then there are temporary fun adventures for a while. NWO is the latter imo, something to fill the gap when bored/burned out. |

and found insane stupid problem/bug wha ever..
lvl 40 dungeon and after 1 and half hours one person decided to simply drop from party and we left without one person. ofc last boss is not doable with lack of team mmebers and ofc "u cannot invite players to this que instance" result is that whole almost 2 hours fell appart at last boss so much for that oh yeah and not to mention that it ONLY took 37 minutes to get a party from que to do the instance Last edited by IceLancerSR#0218 on May 6, 2013, 12:04:13 AM

Yeah I am really really praying NW will be super awesome, so all these QQers will leave.
Browsing through the forums as Witt aludes to, dammit I thought, QQing starting already? QQs about how slow it is to grind astrals...already??? (!) People complaining their economic systems are just egging them to spend their real-life dosh to earn astrals as opposed to the ethical MT of POE? Dammit >.< I predict their honeymoon period will be very short, their forums will degenerate into QQ entertainment and these QQers will return to POE :( Curses. When these casuals do return I hope their wiser of their experience, with their loss of face and just shut up about their know it all theories when they do return here :( POE is a constantly evolving game, so expect balance changes, buffs and nerfs STILL!
