wolcen is a d3 clone with tons of bugs, with only several redeeming qualities. they shouldve never scrapped their original concept imo; going the 'safe' route made them some cash, I guess.
poe has many problems, but wolcen release fundamentally doesnt even touch closed beta poe

As to point two, it's entirely possible. Hell, I'm STILL playing wolcen and have about 200 hours in. No man's sky did it, poe has done it multiple times.
Point three: Even back in essence league when I started, poe was down for several hours due to bad servers, ddos attacks etc. It took them YEARS to even have a mild solution to the SYMPTOM of desync, and even longer to actually fix it, which, as far as I know they havent.
Point 4: It was actually less, truth be told. Prior to the institution of the atlas, poe's endgame was docks runs or boss farming. Wolcen has a schedule too, and they do communicate as well, albeit less frequently than GGG did.
In closing to you, sir, it is fine to have gripes about wolcen, but don't lambaste the game with untrue facts. That's where the problem lies.
The irony in that statement. Did you even play PoE pre atlas?
Never claimed to have played it before the atlas. I openly admitted I joined in essence league, well after it was implemented. As to how I know it wasn't implemented prior, I have people in my guild who were here since closed beta, and I have their stories to go off of, not to mention gameplay videos and streams where people were waiting hours to log in because ggg borked something on the servers or where they simply knocked out a region entirely.
As to Elwindakos, I was simply stating that GGG is not immune to server issues on the same scale wolcen had at launch. Wolcen and PoE were both done by amateur developers and had about the same amount of content at their respective launch dates. Maps were implemented in patch 0.9.12 according to forum history. You also can't deny that desync persisted for literal years before they acknowledged it. OOS macros were NECESSARY to play the game for a large chunk of people, even well into the near past. Wolcen already has expansions lined up and planned.
In closing to the both of you, I would suggest you keep your criticisms of games based in actual evidence and reality. It's one thing to say "Hey the game crashed mid boss fight, every time I play cyclone"(poe) or "Hey my stash is gone after this patch" (wolcen). It's another entirely to say poe had more content at launch and never had bugs. It had less content and STILL has bugs. (to be fair, wolcen, poe, and most games will have bugs on expansion launches etc)

So you made 4 points that you clearly don't know about and retract afterwards and you still say that your opinion is based on facts.I would search for a clown meme but can't be bothered...
0.9.12 was BEFORE game official launch which was 1.0
Desync was an issue yes,but not because of servers but on bad structure that got rid 5 years ago that you claim you have now.
Ddos is not comparable to servers withstanding people, making servers being down.Crashing from certain conditions is not comparable to losing the whole character.
And ofcourse there will be bugs.No game ever in existence is bug free. The severity of the bug though is what makes the game playable or just...wolcen

I am willing to give Wolcen a try... once it stops being a 40-dollar alpha test.
Getting the other half of their passives to work might be a good start, as well as removing the progression re-setting bugs in online and offline. Maybe in a year they will fix most of the issues? But by then we will have PoE 2, something I will definitely prioritize over Wolcen.

You seem to lack reading comprehension skills there. My knowledge isn't first hand, but that doesn't mean I don't know it. I never said desync was a server issue, but it did make the game unplayable for many people. And if you think it doesn't still exist turn off lockstep and see your character rubber band all over the place.
Ddos is not the same as server overpopulation, that is true, but they have the same result. That result being that you can't play your game. I also did not equate a server crash to losing a character, I equated two factually proven bugs as factually proven bugs. Did poe crash during shaper dialogue while using cyclone? Yes it did. Did wolcen accidentally delete people's stashes after some patches? Yes, it did. Both of those are facts. What is not a fact is you saying wolcen is unplayable, when it is very playable.

I play on predictive mode all the time because my internet is ass (my ping is 11ms yet its terrible in lockstep), aside from very fast leap slam speeds, desync in predictive is barely existent. when they implemented lockstep, they found a lot of bugs with predictive. predictive is very, very solid now. trust me, as someone who played invasion and got downed by chaska rain more than once.
also, you saying poe had less content on release is just untrue. poe had more skills, bigger tree, more mob types, more maps, and 3 acts of story on official release.

Wolcen is not even a threat. of course people will flock to new games to check it out. but only after a month, 80% players have abandoned it. and the reviews aren't good either.
61% on metacritic (POE 86%).
steam reviews are mixed (POE very positive.)
POE was GotY 2013. Highly doubt Wolcen would even be nominated.
When the new POE season begins this Friday, Wolcen will be tossed aside and forgotten.

Wolcen is laughably bad. No Force move on left click? I mean, they are so inept it's mind boggling.

If that's the best thing you can come up with to argue why Wolcen is laughably bad, then it must be a really good game

I would play that game only for 20$ or less. So lets wait for discount.
Game looks good, but in my opinion POE is still better... Wolcen is new game thats the reason why there are so many players trying that game out... lets see what will happen after month... i dont think this will be Bless Online case, but there will be for sure population drops.
Im waiting new POE league.
