Wolcen overtook POE as the new number 1 arpg game on Steam (127k concurrent players at the moment)

But that the game is simply one year away from being released and you are basically purchasing 40$ to play an alpha version.

LOL, region pricing wolcen is $15 for me. That tells about POE suck so much in this area.

For A $60 supporter pack, I can buy over $120 of games.

GGG if you are reading this, please FIX IT

Poe started becoming shit a couple of years after release and now after they sold it its only shitting out unfinished untested garbage in order to sell mtx to the whales

You have a point but I would wait and see how 3.10 launches, using logic in this forum or reddit never works.. you will drown in zealots stones.

I'm waiting for 3.10 so bad not for the content because I don't know it yet but how tested and how performance wise on the servers/client will be.. then all of these people shittying on wolcen might gonna have to think again considering that this isnt poe first league.

poe0.2/10. Nuff said.

What do you expect? the majority of the past 5 or so leagues have been dumpster fire trash. Then consider the atlas getting reworked to dog$hit and you have record low numbers of a game that would otherwise have increased in player base. Standard players have been bleeding away too as GGG introduces new items that make legacy items next to worthless..... they forgot those of us who made this game what it is in favor of new "customers" or players that thrive on shiny MTX's and needless reworks.

It might not be too late for GGG but they are dangerously close to bringing this game to beyond saving.

I expect people to remember PoE's concurrent player record is 189k

Its a steam record which says absolutely NOTHING...

the league starts have like 80k viewers on twitch...and here you still think ppl play through steam lol......when ppl dont have to start steam to install the game at all...no1 will actually start steam and put the game on there....

I doubt more than 10% of the player base uses steam to start poe.

nope ggg have said a few times most people play from steam now, more like 90/10 to steam
Holy crap are people stupid...same thing on every reddit and forum, everyone compares diablo to wolcen, grim dawn to wolcen, poe as well.
Just play what the hell you want and that's it.
If PoE is so bad what the hell are you even doing here? Clearly you have farm more and far better choices than this game, so go, meanwhile i'll keep watching the review bar drop by miles on wolcen's steam page because unlike most of you muppets i actually bought the damn thing and tried playing it and in it's current state it's basically garrys mod on crack in a deungeon crawler environment. Half the passives don't work, certain mechanics simply do not apply to your character which leads to more than half of the skills being quite literally useless. It's a mess which is why the game's steam reviews dropped from very positive to mixed with a steady downward climb within a single day right after the release.
No rest for the wicked.
Funny how Wolcen went from "this game *almost* overtook PoE in new number 1 ARPG" to "fuck this game, its literally unplayable" in 2 days
LMAO

A 10 year old game that barely beats a week old game's player record is not reassuring at all.

More like "shiny new game thats not even able to overtake, in its launch day, the 10 years old game that everyone is bored of already"

I wonder how many of those 127k players refunded the game? My guess is at least half of them.
Has been very interesting following this for a week now.

So despite all the opening week issues / complaints / problems and what not, Wolcen's players in the 7 days since release have only dropped from 127K to 93.5k players. Those are substantially better retention rates for players than anything POE has ever seen. Which really shows the problems are only really problems for a loud minority of individuals, not those still having a blast playing it.

POE this league had one of it's best opening week player retention rates ever thanks to the new atlas re-work. Yet it's player numbers after 7 days on Steam slumped significantly from 115.5K players to only 68k players.

I wonder what the league start and retention numbers are going to look like for 3xG's next league now.
Becuz ppl is tiring of start over every 3 month just to enjoy the new content, the worst thing bout online game is i keeping hearing my fren making new character while the old character1 he playing not even strong, how he will become strong if u keep creating new character and only last for 3 month after that u creating new 1 again? Omg hehe! many of them still cant sirus but the league is going to end, and they planning on new league ROFL, maybe they enjoy running acts perhaps Lols.

Wolcen is a brand new game, so of course the retention will be higher. Also PoE had 85k players after 7 days, not 68k.
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.
Wolcen Infinity money
