POE 2 have controller support for PC?
" chris has already stated they have partial controller support in poe at present. He said it isnt a priority finishing it so it will come but when who knows. |

" yep, just shortly after they improved offline trading, which they also considered for a while :-) no, they can't do this. controller support only works with currency hoover functionality, in which case playing with a controller would put those people at a advantage. if they implement currency hoovering in general, i'm out. why? because the prediction is that extending a superior platform to a subpar platform slowly changes the game to the subpar (console) platform. poe ever has been a point and click pc game, direct and click console games are different, they require a totally different skill set since you can't aim at things on the screen. if they implement controller support, consles have won the pc/console war on poe and they can just cancel the pc version. age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!

^^ well thats your stance and if its a deal breaker for you then you will be out. alot of other players will also be in, ggg more then ever chase the bottom line so if controller support helps that then im guessing its coming.

" If you'll forgive me, I'm going to screenshot this post and send it to people whenever someone asks "why are console wars the most idiotic thing ever happened because of videogames?" This. This is why. |

" where is the idiocy in this post? are you unable to differ between "point and click" and "direction and click"? you can currently play the pc version of poe with a controller, you have to manually direct the cursor over each currency fragment to pick it up or use tools which are bannable. give it a try. age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill! I would love for a controller support been wanting one for a long time. it's much more chill to play with a controller. would be perfect for this type of a game.

Just ringing in here - there is exactly one reason I'm not playing POE right now (PC guy here): no controller support.
M&K guys can rage all they want about how M&K is better, controller players are losers, what have you... I frankly couldn't care less. I'm left handed, I hate M&K because it's very clunky for me (in order to use WASD I'd have to rearrange my whole desk, and I'm not going to do that), and I'll only play with controllers because of this. So, if your game doesn't offer controller play, no matter how great it is, I won't be playing it. It's just that simple. It's 2021. Controllers are a pretty standard input device these days (regardless of how certain people feel about them). Give gamers options we prefer, or don't get our money, it's just that simple. No hard feelings either way. /shrug |

" Sorry but no. I don't know how did you reach this conclusion, but I bet that GGG has access to Steam hardware survey and can see precisely the % of players that have any kind of gamepad even plugged in, and majority of them, me included, only use them for fighting games and souls-likes.
