"No Dead Babies" Option, Please
Don't try to mess up with my little dose of darkness!
I want more and more! I'm tired with the "creative" industry of entertainement which try to constantly cater to the mass. everything is edulchorated, adaptated, betrayed from the starting POV of the "creatives"... I don't want annother generic unimaginative's product... and I'm not alone.... ... nothing

Its very rare nowadays to get a game as dark as goreish as this one because every game company panders to all the 'mothers against video' games.
The only thing needed is for the game to be rated 18+. If you have kids then simply don't let your kids see the game. If you were watching The Human Centipede for whatever bizare reason, would you allow your kids to also see you watching that? Why is it that the 'think of the children' argument only ever applies to video games and never to movies or music? If you have kids then either play the game where they can't see it, or play something else that's more child friendly. (b) Personal abuse, foul language, inappropriate subject matter, obscene, harassing, threatening, hateful, or discriminatory or defamatory remarks of any nature ... are not permitted.

Just wanted to add my 2cents..
If you don't want your child to see violence and gore..do NOT allow him to play it or watch you play it! To me..its the PARENTS responsibility to explain and/or censor things they do not want their child to see..For example I still remember having to walk out of the room during happy sexy time in movies when I was a very young kid as my parents felt I should not see that kind of thing yet. |

I let my kids play, and when they ask about the dead babies, I just say "they didn't clean their room when daddy told them too"

" I dont think its his/her kid playing.. apparantly, its the Dads and Mums that are. Haven't you guy forgot that there are older players with kids? Its a great way to pass on to their kids. hope GGG is seeing this post. but to be fair, an option isn't to bad, unless its going to be very difficult to program it, giving current beta stage. option are:- 1. totaly turn off 2. change the blood from red to other colors. 3. replace the blood with kiddy-animation (eg kids peeing/popping) 4. replace explosions/glore with Party Poppers etc. You guys know what, maybe they should just move it to "Kiddy League" - a league just for kids, with Parentage- control features. Opps did i give another silly ideas?? (hope GGG is really seeing this post) Perm. Retired from this unforgiving land of the Exiles.

I see a lot of people saying, essentially: "I get your concern but, this is a dark horror game, it is targeted to players who like it that way, so you're just going to have to live with it or not play".
I get that. But ... why so set against a simple on/off option? Those who like the gore simply don't turn it off. The damage of having such an option is ... ? Some dev time, yes, but how much really? not enough time for gaming!

"because it starts with just a little blood, then what next? We can't have upside down burning crosses or blenders full of newborn salsa or sacrificed virgins bled out to fill our swimming pools? It's a bad path to start going down. Even without the blood it's still a game of killing millions for greed, yet you're okay with that for the children, but not red pixels which is completely irrational to begin with.
