I don't see any reason it shouldn't go core. It's OPTIONAL. If cassia shows up in a map and you don't like the mechanic...SKIP IT! At least the option is there for the people who actually like it.
I hated the synthesis mechanic and literally skipped everything to do with it, but I still had fun playing the league. Granted, I didn't play as long as other leagues. It just doesn't make sense to me to have a mechanic that half the people like not go core. I definitely think the amount of past league mechanics that are in the game is kinda crazy, but I love the fact that they're optional. I think some people don't seem to understand that you don't HAVE to do everything you come across in the game. Yes, you might miss out on some things, but at least the choice is there for you to make. |

" It's not a master thing in my opinion, it's only a thing like a breech or incursion. And this can be optional as an addition. You don't like it leave it. At the moment they are very rewarding, I have more orbs than last league - was playing not the fast AOE-clearer last league so only parts of the pinata last season. This league I can get all the loot. You can ignore all the tower stuff in maps and just kill the monsters with your screen wiper build, a fist full of better orbs for a minute monster mashing isn't that bad. And blighted maps are fun for me. |

Other than her singing which is great (superb voice acting as always by GGG) I'm "meh" on the actual mechanic of Blight. It's not as bad as Betrayal portal and being blind-sided (or worse frozen so I can't make a split second move away from the portal and the dangerous syndicate member coming through it) but it isn't all that fun for time required and meh drops don't make it worth doing. If GGG upped the rewards then maybe I could/would get more interested in it.

With the new master system you get 1 added to your pool if a master would of been in the map so what's the issue with having Cassia there?
I too like the idea of optional content - the main reason I hate Jun is that her stuff isn't optional but forced on you, admittedly this is less of an issue now with the new master pools. At present the blight maps drop rate is too low but if they fix this & it goes core doing the occasional blight map - where's the harm? |
