Easy solution to this is just to ask the guy who offering mirror service to mirror his items with his own mirror then you trade the mirrored item with your mirror+fee.

And yes ppl may trick you into mirror ur item then just simply refuse to buy it, but most of those assholes can be reduced by asking them to show that they actually own a mirror.

If by some extremely low odds some ass still trick you into mirroring the item then you can just sell it to the next guy in line, who probably need that common color configuration you have on your mirrored item because I assume the item you got is actually mirror worthy.

I get your original point, and here's where people are missing it left, right and center: this isn't about trading. It's about GIVING.

The main role of making a post is to create awareness.

It matters little in the large scope of things what have been said throughout the pages of the average forum thread, so long as you are discussing the core values that originated in the first post.

There are different kinds of ideas to bring out there, and while some more detailed suggestions can require long discussions, others are most clearly communicated in one post. In this post, people will keep reacting to the latest posts which will all be about how this is a learn to think issue and so forth.

By engaging with people you will keep the the listing of the thread refreshed. With time, a higher average position in the listing will increase views in the average situation, and as such more see your original post, thereby creating awareness around your message.

Let me iterate: that is not theft. It is not them taking it against your will. They didn't reach into your inventory and pluck the mirror out. You handed it over based on trust.

Is it scamming? Absolutely. 100%. And this is where scamming and theft are different. Scamming is fraudulent betrayal of gained confidence; theft is just taking shit against someone's will.

I think there is a reason that the world keeps precipitating order in a way that protects us from actions that separate us. Everything in all societies and groupings has been about protecting those inside the group from those who wish to abuse them. In the same way, i think that a community should protect its members instead of preying on them.

A scam is fraudulent, which is deceit and trickery. I suppose if you want to compose some wicked witches cult, these would be qualities to cultivate.

I understand what you are saying that it is not a trade, but it is a scam, the stealing of something such as if your local jeweller stole the materials she was supposed to craft from. You may not have to pay for her work, but I would still call that stealing.
