I have to agree, it makes no sense.

but the torrent download was fast... about 30-40 MB/s
currently seeding at 17 MB/s

I'm more into For Honor now, so I'll let ya kids have at it first. I really wanna avoid the "hype-rush-disappointment cycle" this launch around and go into it more calm and realistic later on.

the most bothering thing with steam is their patching procedure.

the main file is about 27gb
what steam doing?
1. downloading patch to temporary folder (your download speed)
2. copy main 27gb file to temporary folder (read\write speed of your HDD\SSD)
3. patch this big file
4. copy patched file to the game folder

you see how much unnecessary work steam doing?
and all this copy there copy here is not good for your SSD.

i'd like to stay on steam, but this patching procedure is just badly implemented.

I will wait for the offical patch. Im patient :)

Please note that you can't use this GGPK file with the Steam client.

Does this mean, that there is no point in downloading the file, if I use Steam?
