Reworking summoning. Removes Violent Dead, no more slamming for Zombies. Way to go.

Really sounds like they’re projecting their own opinion onto the masses here.
Fact of the matter is, every build that used zombies as a minion proper used them for their slam, because it was effective and efficient. You always got that 300% cooldown speed because it made zombies feel GOOD.

I’m of the opinion that GGG has just not used their own vast terminology correctly and that very odd 76% is actually a reduction instead of cooldown recovery speed.
Hmm, usually prefacing something with "my thought" does a good enough job making it clear that I'm just expressing my opinion or "thoughts" on a subject. Odd that doesn't always seem to work here. I will continue to find the topic amusing either way.

takeaways i got was base slam speed is 4, down from 5s
zombies at gem levels

That really depends on the phrasing. Your post reads like:
My thought about the removal: Not important (the opinion part) - no one uses the jewel anyway. (sounds like you're expressing a fact)

they also removed 100% inc aoe for zombie slams

from I what I see right now zombiemancer is a dead build, unless there are some hidden changes in zombie basic stat.




and passive tree got nerfed hard btw, check my zombiemancer tree right now and tell me I can do better tree in 3.8:D

In fact massive zombie slam nerf began previous patch with destroying multistrike gem.
