No, this is not their major rework. These are simply tweaks and QoL buffs. GGG told us to not expect a major rework, so don't treat it like a major rework, because this is not a major rework and was never intended to be one.

You see, their Legion Balance Manifesto specifically said that Raider would receive "big changes" in 3.8.

What has changed between June and now. Did I miss an announcement or something?

Or do these minor tweaks that were probably done last week in 10 mins, with zero thought, now qualify as "big changes"?

They did say that, but by the time they announced Blight, they tokd us that it won't receive a major update.

Whether they could not figure out anything which they were satisfied with, or just got so much sidetracked with mines, minions and poison that they did not have proper time for Raider is up to speculation. But the point is that this is NOT a major rework and GGG doesn't consider it one.

That is not an excuse for them for changing their minds, but we can't ridicule them for tweaks being just that, tweaks. In my opinion giving Raider some QoL buffs is still better, than throwing out a half-assed attempt at a major rework, which may be broken in some way or another. If they - for whatever reason - could not yet come up with a satisfactory rework, at least don't ruin what we already had and kind of works. Raider is far from being top tier, but at least it's not dogshit (ie. pre-rework Berserker), feels nice to play with, and now it's buffed a bit as well.

Minor tweaks but well balanced class.
On the other hand we have reworked Bers and Slayer or nerf coming?

People are hating all the time, every time. Is this some kind of tradition with this community ? Seriously what do you guys even want ? Do you want to instantly win PoE as soon as you unlock ascendancy ? Get a grip.

I think raider is going to be very nice now. This ascendancy provides very strong combination of damage, tankiness (evasion + immunities) and movement speed. On paper looks very good.

Im very happy they finally will give us some minion MTX. Its been years since Skeletons or Zombies got MTX. To bad they did literally nothing to Animated Weapon and SRS. Promoting 3.8 as minion rework while buffing/reworking only the popular ones is just sad.

Can we able to raise raider minions to our MasterNecromancers this league? xD

Not for to be really useful and damaging.
No to be any kind of tanky and safe minions, no.
