So in other words, your post is nonsense, alright. I'll go ahead and ignore it then… :/

I swear this thread is getting weirder by the minute...

You just pulled out of your ass that i want to buy cheaper item to sell it afterwards then say my post makes no sence.

If your purpose of trading is flipping items then you prove my point that all the defendats of current system are either brainless white knights or flippers/scummers.

I haven't seen any sane argument against AH. All this talk about economy only makes me laugh, people clearly don't understand the topic but try to be educated on the internet.

Sellers become x1000 and byers will stay the same - that's the level!

back to dumb generalization. your intentions are so clear i can see them from my screen.

because you are being willingly ignorant and intentionally antagonizing the other side.

current trade system is bad and thats why people dont trade and they leave the game?
am i close?

Em, no?

I don't care who leaves the game and why, i'm not GGG financial director, it's none of my problems. I'll probably skip till 4.0 myself, played 2 leagues in a row - too much already.

30 wasted minutes trying to trade fucking alts to chaos lol - that's the problem i care for.

Okay, I've had about enough of your personal attacks on Cyzax right about now, so my gloves are off for a moment.

There's a huge amount of players (~90% by the dev's data) that don't trade.

So far, so good.

MaxGor31 wrote:
People have their own reasons for that,

Mmhmm, yup.

MaxGor31 wrote:
but most of them probably don't trade cause it's a mess right now.

Okay, based on what? Smells like an assumption, sprinkled with personal bias.

"
MaxGor31 wrote:
And most of these people will take part in trading if AH will be implemented.

Mmmm, yes, definitely an assumption sprinkled royally with personal bias. Smells like it's almost ready to be served, too.

MaxGor31 wrote:
So your bullshit about x1000 sellers and the same amount of byers is just silly nonsence.

It's not. His example is just an example, ballpark numbers to be fair, but he understands the fundamental concept.

Popular rare items will stay popular and rare, no matter how many wasted minutes you need to spend to finally buy it.

Except, you're missing the point entirely and you keep coming to the same false conclusions as a result of it, mate. We're not theorycrafting here!

Cyzax is not your enemy, he's not trying to ruin your time on PoE. I think that you would benefit from more examples of how trade works irl to apply them to this situation. Until then, I can't think of another way to explain it if you still don't get it. It's my failure, not yours, but please try to have an open mind and stop this ad hominem nonsense. You'll just end up having your posts edited or removed.

ok i ll shoot for 50% next. no one is perfect
-you will attack the next person on a personal level
-you will call them names such as white knights or shills or smth smth
-you will make bad assumptions about trade system
-last but not least you will take someone's word out of context or you will ignore them entirely.

lets go ball! 50% here i come!

I flipping quoted you, dude! What's there to pull out of my ass? You said it!

Here's a bunch of people meticulously trying to help you grasp the fundamental basics of economy and you're just calling them names while it's abundantly clear that you have no idea what you're actually saying.

I'm starting to see why you claim you haven't seen any sane argument yet and on that bombshell, I'm out. /salute

demand stays the same. cuz of easy trade there would be many more sellers therefore many more items. thus making prices go down.

yes it is possible to undervalue good items. it happens every day with price fixing. a stranger to the market value would greatly misprice their item.

OK, lets assume that the number of sells will increase. Don't you think that the number will be equalized by the new buyers?

Price fixing is the results of the flawed system. And 1 or 2 strangers will not change the picture.

It is strange that there are people who defend it. GGG's trading system is like an extinct mammoth. It is outdated and should go away because it pushes away more and more players.

I have been with POE since beta and I cannot play the game more than 2-3 days in the leagues because I need to trade to get maps, I need to trade to get items ... it takes soooo much time that I do not feel that I am actually playing the game.

I will repeat it once again, the problem of trading is GGG's problem. I, as a customer, should not even bother myself with this.

lol
stop being selfish
if poe gets destroyed by ah we will not have any poe to play with anymore.
some people dont think about future or others...
ok if trade becomes easier drops has to be harder
this would effect the game fundamentally. you me everyone
you would have to try harder to drop items and make currency because trade is easy.
while most of the playerbase which does not even trade has to deal with bad drop rates.
got it?
an ah wouldnt just destroy the game for you but everyone else aswell.
think bigger. stop this me me me sh*t. the world doesnt owe you sh*t. especially in a free game like this.
