Scammed out of 16.3 Exalted Orbs. I feel sick. This has ruined my day.
" WTF why cant such a big and well-funded company like GGG just reverse the trade?! Its of no loss or consequence to them. If you accidentally sell a valuable item to a vendor, GGG should just reverse the trade! It doesnt affect other players. What is with GGG's outdated mentality? World of Warcraft did it better, learn from Riot Games please. |

Welcome to Path of Exile and Chris Wilson's beloved "Player interactions".
Trading is more profitable then actually playing the game, and scamming is even more profitable then trading. Don't forget to buy more mtx and supporter pack guys! |

" That would be nice. But ggg has different problems to solve not just this "small" issue. :-) |

" I am absolutely disgusted at how you can even compare the traumatic event of getting scammed in PoE to rape. I mean, rape is terrible and all but have you even seen what happened to OP? He voluntarily clicked "Accept" in an online video game trade and loss some pixels! I cant imagine what his life must be like now. |

" Bad analogy. I think a better one would be a twenty nine year old man goes to a card shop to buy a babe Ruth baseball card from some rando he saw on craigslist. He meets the man and looks at the card and sees its genuine. He crouched down to get his trade and the man has swapped cards. Now in this world you are required to look directly at the card before the trade can be made but he still accepts the trade because of reasons? Later when he realizes his mistake, he returns to the card shop to complain to the owners that they should be responsible for his misfortune in a world where you are required to physically look at an item before the trade can be concluded. |

Here's a real world analogy.
If you buy a used car from someone and it dies on the way home the seller does not have to take the car back. Make sure to kick the tires before driving that sucker away. |

" Its a bit far fetch lol but its an analogy about the general idea behind it. |

" I agree. Why would anyone make a post pointing out such a ridiculous mistake that is so easily avoided. I guess the faint hope of getting their pixels back is more important than dignity. |
