Can we please stop pretending that Map drops are OK in League?

" Sorry, I don't get to play an hour a day every day. That's not how it works. I guess if that's the problem, that I'm just not able to "Play Enough" then I guess I'll just go back to standard until B3 drops, and then log out for good. |

" Wait, so you admit you don't play much, but want access to everything? What is this I don't even lol |

" Exactly this. This is not game for you. And either for me. Chris Wilson found a very comfortable and apparently "undeveloped" niche. People who for some reason can not or do not want to have a "real life". Those who can not just "get out of the house and do something", but at the same time, somebody provides them with maintenance and some money that they can not earn themselves. The only thing they have in excess is the time. Plenty of free time, which usually spend in one room. You can not compete or win with such people because you have to go to work or school, take care of children or generally family. You must also sleep because after an active day you are tired. They can sleep 5-6 hours and that's enough for them. They can play 18-19 hours, every day, every damn day. You can't. Don't even try. ome are leveling this disparity by buying ingame currency at RMT shops. And others uninstall the game and do something useful. I did it. Of course, Mr. Wilson will never admit that he created a game for disabled people, to make them addicted and force them to pay regularly (out of gratitude), because "public opinion" would crucify him, but that's the way it is. Friendly advice - don't play it. Or any other game, which doesn't "stop" when you push "esc" button :) You have been placed on probation for: ● Make hateful or needlessly negative comments ● Personally attack or cause harm to the reputation of others ● Antagonise others in an obnoxious manner ●

All of these 'play more' comments are silly. I play around 4-5 hours a day but even so I was stuck at T5-6 for at least a week. As a new player, it didn't occur to me to spend currency on maps. The only thing I knew was vendoring 3x maps. Once I found out about using chisels to increase quantity the maps just kept on coming. I get a reasonable amount in the nexus too.
Btw you can't complain about the map fragments in the nexus because there's several ways to shape it to the way you want. You can remove pieces from your inventory, remove placed memories off the map, and now even put them back into your inventory to use again. If you have to throw a few away and run more memories in maps, so be it. I've never had a problem and I find the increased rewards are worth it (although synth gear still sucks). Bite the bullet and buy the last couple of maps to complete a tier, they are so cheap now. Once you find a good map it can drop 5-8 at a time, and even the cruddy ones can drop one or two. You'll get out of the rut in no time, and you don't have to play for hours and hours, but bear in mind the less you play, the fewer maps you'll find in a day compared to others. |

" Yep. Because on every map you find at least 4 chisels, everybody knows that. And 6 chaos for Zana mods. And at least one vaal orb LOL |

" https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5700715/ The problem is known ;-) However... I have great idea now: Play PoE. Stay addicted. Go to the doctor - collect disease documentation. Then call to the lawyer and ask GGG for a million dollar compensation. Last edited by Mark___75#6278 on Apr 8, 2019, 4:12:03 PM

The best advice the community that is mentally healthy can give you is to leave the game.
It has been derived to players without real life, bots and streamers so if you want a game that does not make you sick either of nerves or because you cover your needs as a normal person (eating, sleeping, working, showering, real friends, and a long etc.) poe is not yours. Now if you want to become a lifeless being, go ahead and give it hard. Greets. |

Wtf is this thread ? I was in t15s by week 2 or something. If you're in tradeleague, just buy the maps you're missing lol = easymode.
No idea how you can be in t5s after a month of a league, when most people have multiple 90+ chars and are in shaper/uberelder lol. I mean this game isn't catered to people that play 2 hours a week dude... Last edited by Paldamus#1328 on Apr 8, 2019, 5:08:02 PM

" Nah you just need to play the game for a while to understand what you're doing and do a lot of research. When i was new i watched vids, read peowiki, learned how to use tools like PoB and learned of the existence of sites like Poeninja, poeDB, Poelab etc and asked questions in chat and read forums --- i educated myself to the point where i am now, almost 36 challs in first month of league, killing uberelder with selfmade build and having fun. This game just requires time to "git gud". And one could play way more efficiently than i do (cos i chill). So nah, you don't need to be a "nolifer" or whatever.
