Can we please stop pretending that Map drops are OK in League?

I've been playing since the launch of the league, and while the Map drops are *SLIGHTLY* better, they are by no means "great".

I'm level 87, I've been alching all of my maps, and chiseling about 1/3 of them, when I have the chisels to spare (since, that was everyone's solution to get more maps, I'm not woefully low)

I'm stuck, in T5 / T6. There are some lower level maps that I've not seen drop.

Right now, I'm maxing out around 15m XP / Hour on average.

I'm out of sulphite, I can't delve anymore.
I have memories to run, but they don't lead anywhere amazing, because I'm not getting the corners / straights to make the bends to get things that are "Ok".
Alva takes too long to count on getting to run temples to find more maps.
I guess, I can go run Eternal Lab? Is that my solution now? Eternal Lab to try and find more maps, so that I can find higher level memories, and sulphite? Lab is awful XP.

Seriously, this league's progression is awful. You spend so much time bouncing between all of the content that is crammed in it that you are left mediocre at everything. At this rate, I'll be level 90, in T7 maps, hoping that I can cobble together enough Vendor Recipe Mats to go buy more maps, and not actually running the content.

play more. 1 month in and you're level 87? most people have multiple 90+ chars by now. you wont get a bunch of map returns if you play 20 minutes a day

LOL - yes play more. That's always a great solution.

Map drops suck. Playing more won't increase the drop rate percentage Einstein.

Sell 3x of the same map to progress. It is better to do that if you are stuck.
Run t1 map before zana reset.
"Horizon" Maps in the map device.
Play more.
Clear faster.

I started the league 2 weeks ago SSF and I'm already at up to T15 maps.

so you can buy maps?

if you're not SSF, you should basically always buy maps. there is always one chain of maps in one corner of the atlas which is a huge bitch to progress through naturally. just buy every single map that you're missing up to whatever.

always run the highest level map you have no matter what. i personally only chisel maps t13 and up, so just alch and go.

once you complete zana's quest chain and can get shaped 1-5 and 1-10 it becomes sooooooo much easier. then just work towards elder orb and once you have that you'll never have to worry about maps again, really. its easy sustain from there.

if you have no aversion to buying maps, why are you even bringing it up?

actually - you're only level 87 and probably lacking everything, if its your first character in the league still. you SHOULD be stuck in t6-t7 maps at that point. everyone is.

yes you play more just mapping and mapping and you'll eventually get maps, sulphite, etc in order to get currency in order to buy maps you don't have yet.

No one is pretending. Map drops have been lowered in maps. You're supposed to make up for it by running the tiles you get. If you're not running the tiles, because <reasons>, then you're capping out a few tiers lower than you're used to.
You dont want to try and SSF your progression.

Sustain is hard at the beginning when you have limited resources and limited atlas bonus. Get at least one map of each tier up to 11 done, then buy yourself ~10 t11 maps, chisel+alch+vaal them and you should be pretty good to go on sustaining. As you can finish out your lower tier maps for more atlas bonus.

Once you have a more stable map base you can then buy or slowly farm enough maps to tier up. Its important to have that base first before you try or else RNG can stomp you and it will feel bad.

Oh, well… you have to play more. You have to understand, this game is not for casual players, who plays like 5-6 hours per day. It requires slightly more dedication, like 8-12 hours per day and 32 hours per weekend. Playing more can be negative for your health, so don’t play more then 16 hours per day, but this 8-12 is minimum.

Then, try to share this time. Like 6 hour playing maps, delve and nexus and another 6 stay in your hideout and flip currency and maps. This way you will always have plenty of currency and maps. Another thing, you have to convince your parents, friends or family to bring you food and water every day. Try to obtain some mobile toilet too, it’s great advantage. Last but not least, use another one or 2 computers to do live price check and to avoid alt-tabing. Good luck exile, may Chris Wilson be with you!
I was "stuck" real bad for a bit. like lv85-93 stuck in T9/10 for 2 weeks.
Then I bit the bullet and bought the last T10 I needed and that has at least bumped me into Red now. But I've done 1 T14 and 3 T13s.
IDK, running ALL CONTENT seems to be the only way to progress, like I get more maps out of Delve than I do out of maps... just Rng I guess.
I do all the things suggested, have up'd many 3 to 1 maps. And buy from Zana, and always run her dialy mission.
But then ALL CONTENT isn't appearing for me to progress... smh...
Luckily my buddy is a filthy casual (I'm just casual) so I run a lot of his stuff to bring him up to my level.
The core game is great so I try not to complain, but I still do :)
I will wear your ghost and you will die twice, against me and for me.
That is some cold blooded shit to say...
