Being able to constantly pause would help in there to get a good overview. Even if the screen would turn blank, you'd just quickly unpause/pause again. So that action itself would probably need a cooldown as well? So many questions. On a side note, would also probably be abused by hackers to identify certain data points to do something questionable with it. The world's not semi persistent it's all instanced if you're not in a party and there's no one in your instance pausing is easy time doesn't need to advance. Maybe not exactly pausing the game but some skill like "turn to stone" or whatever that makes you immune would be nice. Ofcouse it would need to have a loooong cooldown to prevent abuse and also put a stop to all damage your skills were doing like totems or dots. May I suggest you play summoner if you frequently have to stop playing in order to tackle IRL issues? Minions will always have your back. I wouldn't mind seeing a pause feature implemented for solo players, by the way. PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.
