We need an auction house
" I love people making these completely made up examples and blowing them out of proportions. If that's really such a huge deal then I guess devs can display the average/median/recent price of the similar unique/rare items (when it comes to the rolls) on the market that HAVE BEEN SOLD already. And display warning info when it is undervalued. Trade Autohotkey macros made by some amateurs can do that. The developers of this game that have full control over the data located on the servers - can't, right ? Also, just for symmetry - this system could also diplay a warning whenever someone would try to buy stuff that is overpriced, just to balance the things up for both sides. Funny stuff that you're more concerned about the safety of sellers than buyers. I guess getting market rigged by bots isn't on your list of the current problems. " you do know that trade macro is bad for pricing rare right. If an item got a very weird mod, and you macro that, it gonna be 2-3ex even though the item is complete garbo. you can do that with unique i guess. Yea it rigged by bot, but i can look though the price-fixer so it doesn't affect me? |

It doesn't even have to be any sort of 'auction house' or something similar. Just putting the information from an external website right into the game would be a great solution. Player-interaction is kept up, bots won't have any extra upside but for a living person it would be a literal life-saver not having to tab in and out over and over again.
GGG balance is like getting a pizza which is burnt on the sides, raw in the middle and misses the most of the toppings.
Then upon sending it back you get a raw side, burnt middle and enough toppings to drench everything in grease. Everything fixed but still broken. |

People cry about botters lmao... There are people making thousands of dollars just by flipping and you think that someone will make bot for undercutting etc...
If that was true, all games with AH would have it dont you think? |

" The same people start with botting, at first. Flipping is just the next step of the snowball effect - when they concentrate enough of currency. Botting is the root of many problems with in-game market, it's where literally every other problem with the in-game economy starts. Last edited by kentrylix#3006 on Mar 31, 2019, 10:35:50 AM

+1 for auction house.
It will instantly solve all the problems with bots, price fixers and scammers. Buuut it will also hurt demand for stash tabs, it won't be happening. |

" Doubt trading is a big draw to get people to buy stashes. Meanwhile, you need tabs for: - Fossils - Resonators - Prophecies - Superior Gems (for GCP) - Vaal Gems (for collection and Vaal Orbs) - Jewels you may or may not use - Synthesis fractured items - Excess uniques you plan to use for Mysterious Gift fodder or Loreweave - "Dump" tab for quicker map/delve/temple runs - Chaos vendor sets (if that's your thing) - Regal vendor sets (if that's your thing) - Outdated maps if you play standard PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds. Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build! And the winds will cry / and many men will die / and all the waves will bow down / to the Loreley Last edited by Pizzarugi#6258 on Mar 31, 2019, 12:33:01 PM

PSO2 has player shop system.
And guess what, no bots, no price fixers, no time wasting sludging through AFKers and other BS. So I speak from experience. " Bots and fixers inflate prices to a degree where you need so much currency your default storage can't hold all that you need. Shop system would rectify this and in turn hurt tab sales.
