We need an auction house
I don't care about inflation or any other excuse. It's annoying as f- when you whisper more than 10 people and still don't get a response because the trade sites are dead.
Oh, and price fixers are also annoying as hell. Letting people spam list trade deals without having to follow them up is another shitty problem that AH would fix. Last bumped on Apr 1, 2019, 1:47:49 AM

here an idea. I read this awhile ago while reading some post. What if people program a bot that immediately scoop the item as soon as it put on sale if the price of the item is too low. Boom give bot free currency.
Here another one, I'm sure once in your gametime of this game, you try to offer a lower price for an item. Can't do that anymore can we? Last edited by iceandfire2907#5700 on Mar 30, 2019, 3:14:32 PM

No, we don't anyone arguing for one obviusly dose not understand the heavy drawbacks of an auction system and can only see the one solution to their problem ignoring everything else.
Not that it matters, GGG have said no...not going to happen, not once but multiple times and that answer has not changed. Ancestral Bond. It's a thing that does stuff. -Vipermagi

We might be able to get GGG to budge a little on giving us an AH for consumables like maps, scarabs, fragments, currency, etc because using them removes them from the game. Anything else like gear, expect more resistance or GGG not budging at all.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.
Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build! And the winds will cry / and many men will die / and all the waves will bow down / to the Loreley |

" this game is already full of bots buying and selling stuff. they flip currency, snipe poe.trade, sell stashtabs all day long.... i cant tell you how many obvsly bot trades i have done while i played this game. google it, you will find many sellers for this kind of bots and im sure that some of them work pretty good. so no, bots are not a problem at all. and even when they snipe items and relist them, this items are not taken out of the game and still compete with other sellers prob going down over time. its like it is in any other game. yes, you have bots in auction houses. but no, not having an auction house does not prevent bots. it just makes theyr trades more valuable fo the botter. EDIT: btw, diablo 3 worked pretty well with his auction house. they lost theyr playerbase after they shut it down, not because of the auction house at all. I've thought that it's pretty obvious that developers are forcing shitty trade system to sell more stash tabs. This has to be their main source of income in this F2P game.
There is literally no other reason that makes any sense at all. As long as you've got control over servers and software - you can do anything. One could argue about the potential apocalyptic outcome if there was just one "Standard League" for everyone But here, in POE, for instance - they can try some auction house system in one league and revert it/disable it with the one switch in the next one (or even the same one) if something doesn't work as intended. And everyone would be ok with it. The fact that they've never even tested any alternative solutions on decently sized population speaks for itself. The reasons are business related, nothing else.
