Be assured I will get thrown of balance by this strawman argument you try to build up. I myself doubt that the father of 2 childen who gets to play 2 hours at best 2-3 days a week will run fucking harbour bridges for breachstones. He may not even trade to be honest, but if he does he for sure will get hurt alot if basic things getting devalured AND the pool of exciting drops gets simply...less exciting. Btw they DO fucking realize what is going on when they maybe go 820 to get the one trial they are missing and cannot see anything ever between the spam of rotas and hosted breachstone runes... Btw nerfing breachstones exp or not will not affect that it hardly will be able to "make you rich again". It will be greatly reduced in availability as of every mechanik that goes from league to core. If you did not get the memmo, but for the most part interacting with the league mechanik some way or another is always one of the more profitable ways to make currency. If your hope for next league is to make buck with farming betrayal to upgrade breachstones I have to sadly tell you taht you will indeed be poor again regardless of any outcome of this discussion or to be more precise: whatever action ggg may or may not take. Seems like an really odd argument to make. "I engaged in the league mechanik and made some currency, what i am ever gonna do when the league mechanik will be diffrent?!" How about...engage with the next league mechanik?! xD I still have yet to see a real argument that offers a reason why those stones should not ne nerfed. Right now they will end up as a more speedy way to level for the 1% that will make betrayal as a core mechanik way less interesting/divers when basically nobody else has any value from it. It always seems to boil down to "but 100 is way to ridicilous to obtain anways, why nerf" which is a bad argument to begin with in context to those stones, because it would not solve the problem for the mayority of playerbase AND would be another hurdle to overcome to make an argument for a way bigger change because they simply exist in that form and would be an easy excuse for ggg to look at and NOT take action. The guys arguing they should not be nerfed because 100 should be easier shotting themself in the foot because those stones will never be the solution to this own discussion. Folks are able to do it in few days after league start, even on SSF. No big issue these days, just boooooring, brainless and timeconsuming. Somebody can faster reach level 100? Cool. I made it to level 95 in my 1st ever league (Betrayal) on a crappy 4 yr.old laptop connected to wifi through 2 walls and 1 floor to my neighbors' router, all the while never using 1 Breachstone at all. I ran 1 Enriched Xoph Breachstone just a few days ago for the very 1st time. I enjoyed the experience of doing one, but to be honest, it to me doesn't matter if I can do one of these even once a week or not.
The real challenge for me was having good enough periods of no lag so I wouldn't die and lose 10% on the experience bar on a Melee Reave Juggernaut in Higher tier maps and deeper delves. I can't afford the luxury on higher end rigs at the moment, so I'm kinda stuck playing solo with the occasional request for help getting through endgame content like T11+ Shaper/Elder. Hell, I haven't even Killed Uber Elder yet and we are 2 weeks away from the end of this league. If I do end up getting that pesky Elder Influence to work with me into the middle or not is of no real consequence. What matters to me, just a casual scrub who don't care of how others prefer to play THEIR game, is that I find areas of the game that keep me interested in learning more about it. Effciency is a must have for the types of players that take this game too seriously. For me, I could give two shits. As long as I enjoy the content that is reasonably accessible and not a mind-fuck to get to to keep things fresh and interesting, that's all I really care about. lvl 100? Congrats to those who can do that, and have done it. No reason to be jealous of those who can do that FOR REAL! If I can get a better rig and connection to play on, I'm sure I'll see lvl 96+ a lot easier with a lot less lag deaths. Until then, best of luck to all who spend their time in this game for fun gameplay, and not be overly concerned about efficiency comparing their own game experience to others. |

" Everyone has their own fulcrum to balance their gameplay on, so yes, don't be afraid to have fun, and not be concerned with others who choose their gameplay to get to lvl 100 faster than you. Nobody is "afraid to have fun".
The OP himself used stones to get to level 100 as efficiently as possible ( or something like that I think ), so he knows how much time it takes, and how much of a brutal difference it is and made it mandatory to level up in a competitive fashion in Betrayal. Balancing around one player would go nowhere. Balancing needs to be done seeing the grand scheme of things, otherwise it is meaningless.
